It’s that time of week again! If you’re deciding who to start, who to sit, or who to stream, you’ve definitely clicked the right link. Below I have ranked all 35 two-start pitchers for Week 15 of the fantasy baseball season. I made some notes too. Hope you find the list useful, feel free to have a scroll, and as always, please remember to stream responsibly.
Oh, and one note: I only listed one Mets pitcher despite their seven games next week. That’s because the team has a 17-game stretch in 17 days and is likely to call up Christian Scott as the 6th man in the rotation. So there’s likely to be just one two-start pitcher.
Don’t You Dare Bench These Two-Start Pitchers
Tarik Skubal SP Tigers
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th vs. Phillies – 7IP W 0ER 3H 1BB 7K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Twins + Sunday, July 7th @ Reds
Grayson Rodriguez SP Orioles
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th vs. Guardians – 7IP W 2ER 5H 0BB 4K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Mariners + Sunday, July 7th @ A’s
Notes: Dean Kremer (currently on rehab stint) might make his next start with the big-league club next week. If so, Grayson Rodriguez would only get one start. Not that it matters much. You’re still starting the 24-year-old. But do plan accordingly.
Luis Castillo SP Mariners
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th @ Rays – 5.1IP L 4ER 5H 4BB 4K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Orioles + Sunday, July 7th vs. Blue Jays
Reynaldo Lopez SP/RP Braves
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th @ Cardinals – 5IP W 2ER 4H 4BB 5K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd v.s Giants + Sunday, July 7th vs. Phillies
Hunter Brown SP Astros
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th vs. Rockies – 6IP W 0ER 2H 3BB 7K
2 starts next week: Monday, July 1st @ Blue Jays + Saturday, July 6th @ Twins
Notes: Hunter Brown’s dominant stretch (1.16 ERA over his last 31 innings) is backed by some impressive expected stats. His 3.33 xERA, for example, makes one believe that there are plenty more good starts coming (ERA is a run higher at 4.37). As a two-start pitcher, no mater the format, he seems like a no-brainer.
Mitch Keller SP Pirates
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th @ Reds – 5.2IP W 3ER (4R) 6H 3BB 6K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Cardinals + Sunday, July 7th vs. Mets
MacKenzie Gore SP Nationals
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th @ Padres – 5IP L 5ER 5H 3BB 1K
2 starts next week: Monday, July 1st vs. Mets + Saturday, July 6th @ Cardinals
You Should Probably Start These Two-Start Pitchers
Nathan Eovaldi SP Rangers
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th @ Brewers – 7IP 5ER 9H 1BB 4K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Padres + Sunday, July 7th vs. Rays
Luis Gil SP Yankees
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th @ Mets – 4.1IP L 5ER 4H 4BB 2K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Reds + Sunday, July 7th vs. Red Sox
Notes: Yes, Luis Gil has had two bad starts in a row, thanks in part to walking six batters over the last 5.2 innings. Still like the bat-missing ability, though (28.0% K rate). As a two-start pitcher, I’ll bet on better results this time around.
Kutter Crawford SP/RP Red Sox
Last start: Thursday, June 27th vs. Blue Jays – 1.1IP 0ER 0H 2BB 2K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Marlins + Sunday, July 7th @ Yankees
Notes: Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Kutter Crawford’s start on Thursday was prematurely ended by bad weather. It’s looking like the Red Sox will keep him on regular rest despite the short outing. This is based on manager Alex Cora stating that Brayan Bello will be given extra rest and will start on Wednesday. In any case, the 28-year-old should be started as a two-start pitcher in a week that includes the Marlins (ranked 29th in wOBA). The Yankees start is a much harder task (ranked 3rd in wOBA), but it seems worth the risk in most cases.
Brady Singer SP Royals
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th vs. Marlins – 7.1IP 1ER 5H 1BB 5K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Rays + Sunday, July 7th @ Rockies
Notes: Not too confident that Brady Singer’s solid 3.12 ERA will hold up for much longer. His xERA (4.68) is a run-and-a-half higher. But his ground-ball rate is as high as it’s ever been, too. That could benefit the 27-year-old in a two-start week that includes a trip to Colorado. The other start is against a Rays team that ranks 22nd in wOBA. Overall, seems like a good short-term start.
Jose Berrios SP Blue Jays
Last start: Thursday, June 27th vs. Yankees – 7IP W 2ER 2H 3BB 8K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Astros + Sunday, July 7th @ Mariners
In the Right Situation, These Two-Start Pitchers Make Sense
Kyle Gibson SP Cardinals
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th vs. Braves – 4IP L 4ER 4H 5BB 4K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Pirates + Sunday, July 7th @ Nationals
Zack Littell SP/RP Rays
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th vs. Mariners – 5IP 2ER 4H 1BB 6K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July2nd @ Royals + Sunday, July 7th @ Rangers
Simeon Woods Richardson SP/RP Twins
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th @ DBacks – 5.1IP W 3ER 4H 2BB 4K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Tigers + Sunday, July 7th vs. Astros
Bobby Miller SP Dodgers
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th @ White Sox – 2IP 3ER 4H 3BB 1K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. DBacks + Sunday, July 7th vs. Brewers
Notes: Though it’s very reasonable to expect Bobby Miller to return to his rookie form from last year (3.76 ERA/1.10 WHIP), it seems like he’s not quite there yet (eight earned runs over 8.1 innings). If you can afford to, wait until the 25-year-old is further removed from the shoulder inflammation injury that saw him miss over two months.
You Better Be Desperate To Start These Two-Start Pitchers
David Peterson SP/RP Mets
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th vs. Yankees – 4.1IP 1ER 3H 5BB 8K
2 starts next week: Monday, July 1st @ Nationals + Sunday, July 7th @ Pirates
Hayden Wesneski SP/RP Cubs
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th @ Giants – 4IP 3ER 2H 1BB 7K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Phillies + Sunday, July 7th vs. Angels
Notes: Though he has a rotation spot for the foreseeable future with Javier Assad moving to the IL, Hayden Wesneski is not fully stretched out yet and isn’t likely to give the innings needed for points-league relevance. At least not next week. That Phillies start isn’t too appealing anyway (4th in team wOBA).
Spencer Arrighetti SP Astros
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th vs. Rockies – 7IP W 0ER 3H 0BB 10K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Blue Jays + Sunday, July 7th @ Twins
Notes: It will take more than one dominant outing – no matter how impressive – to trust Spencer Arrighetti. He entered his last start with a 6.36 ERA/1.74 WHIP. And it was the Rockies on the road. Let’s see some more first.
Carlos Carrasco SP Guardians
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th @ Orioles – 5IP 2ER 6H 2BB 3K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. White Sox + Sunday, July 7th vs. Giants
Notes: If you’re planning to get some bulk this week out of Carlos Carrasco’s two starts, do note that Gavin Williams (IL) might return to the rotation either on Tuesday or Sunday. In either instance, the 37-year-old would only get one start. That one start would likely be against the team with the worst wOBA (White Sox), so it’s not an illogical streaming choice. But don’t count on anything more than that.
DJ Herz SP Nationals
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th @ Padres – 3.1IP L 4ER 6H 2BB 1K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Mets + Sunday, July 7th @ Cardinals
Bryse Wilson SP/RP Brewers
Last appearance: Tuesday, June 25th vs. Rangers – 6IP W 0ER 3H 0BB 4K
2 starts next week: Monday, July 1st @ Rockies + Saturday, July 6th @ Dodgers
Hayden Birdsong SP Giants
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th vs. Cubs – 4.2IP 3ER 6H 3BB 5K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Braves + Sunday, July 7th @ Guardians
Valente Bellozo SP Marlins
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th @ Royals – 5IP 0ER 2H 0BB 2K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Red Sox + Sunday, July 7th vs. White Sox
Yariel Rodriguez SP Blue Jays
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th @ Red Sox – 1IP 0ER 0H 1BB 0K (rain shortened)
2 starts next week: Monday, July 1st vs. Astros + Saturday, July 6th @ Mariners
Graham Ashcraft SP Reds
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th vs. Pirates – 5.1IP L 6ER 9H 1BB 3K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Yankees + Sunday, July 7th vs. Tigers
Ryne Nelson SP DBacks
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th vs. Twins – 3.2IP L 6ER 10H 0BB 3K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Dodgers + Sunday, July 7th @ Padres
Michael Mercado SP/RP Phillies
Last appearance: Monday, June 24th @ Tigers – 1IP 0ER 0H 0BB 1K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Cubs + Sunday, July 7th @ Braves
Dallas Keuchel SP Brewers
Last start: Wednesday, June 26th vs. Rangers – 4IP 5ER 8H 1BB 4K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Rockies + Sunday, July 7th @ Dodgers
Notes: In real life, it’s nice to see Dallas Keuchel getting another shot. But on your fantasy roster? Let the past be the past. Besides, there’s no guarantee the 36-year-old even gets another start.
Austin Gomber SP Rockies
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th @ Astros – 5.1IP L 5ER 8H 0BB 4K
2 starts next week: Monday, July 1st vs. Brewers + Saturday, July 6th vs. Royals
Ryan Feltner SP Rockies

2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd vs. Brewers + Sunday, July 7th vs. Royals
Chris Flexen SP/RP White Sox
Last start: Tuesday, June 25th vs. Dodgers – 5.2IP L 4ER 6H 3BB 3K
2 starts next week: Tuesday, July 2nd @ Guardians + Sunday, July 7th @ Marlins
Roansy Contreras SP/RP Angels
