Fantasy Notes:
- Back-to-Backs: The schedule starts in a hurry. There are nine back-to-backs in the first week, beginning on Friday/Saturday.
- Waiver Wire flexibility: By next week, we will have key waiver wire additions to target, but for this week, see how your roster shakes out. You likely took a big swing towards the end of your draft. Give them a little time, then move on quickly in week two or three if they need a path to fantasy relevance.
- James Harden Situation: There is confusion as to whether Harden will play the three games scheduled for the 76ers this week, despite being healthy and on the roster. If he decides not to play, look for the 76ers to settle into a new pecking order on offense that highlights more playmaking from Tyrese Maxey and gives offensive opportunity to newly acquired Kelly Oubre Jr. De’Anthony Melton could emerge as a significant streamer if Harden continues to sit long term.
