Week 10 NFL DFS DK Main Slate

November is officially here which means cold weather football is near. NFL teams have made their push to contend for a deep playoff run (Detroit, Baltimore, Kansas City). The race to the Super Bowl will be interesting in the upcoming weeks. Speaking of things interesting, Week 9 provided high-scoring games, big DFS scores in contests, and a hamstring injury to Dak Prescott. If you were fortunate enough to place, congratulations. If you did not (like me), thank goodness Week 10 is here for redemption. On tap is a 10-game slate. I have done the research to identify my top three cash and GPP plays at the skilled positions, top positional fade, and top stacks to help YOU win big. Without further ado, let’s dive into the Week 10 NFL DraftKings picks for the main slate.

Week 10 NFL DFS Picks for the DK Main Slate

Quarterbacks

Brock Purdy (QB – SF): DK $6,500 at TB (Cash)

San Francisco returns back to action from their Week 9 bye traveling east to play Tampa Bay. On Monday night football Patrick Mahomes finished as QB5 (scoring 24.54 DK points) en route to an overtime victory against the Bucs. Now it is Brock Purdy’s turn to light up this defense. With Christian McCaffrey set to make his season debut, Purdy has a plethora of playmakers at his disposal. On the season, Tampa Bay has allowed the third most DK points to QBs (per Pro Football Reference). Do not miss out on Purdy’s explosion week.

Sam Darnold (QB – MIN): DK $6,200 at JAC (Cash)

Last week Sam Darnold finished as QB8 scoring 22 DK points. There is a good chance Darnold will be a mid to upper QB1 play this week in Jacksonville. The Jaguars give up the second most passing yards per game with 278 (per statmuse.com). Also, Trevor Lawrence may not play either. This could result in great field position throughout the game. Minnesota are (-7) point road favorites with the fifth highest implied team total of (25.75). Expect Darnold to have a clean and efficient game for his DFS managers.

Bo Nix (QB – DEN): DK $6,000 at KC (GPP)

While there has been much fanfare about Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix deserves to be mentioned alongside his counterparts.  Since Week 5 Nix has scored over 20 DK points three times. As a result, the Denver Broncos are winning football games. However, Nix has a daunting task awaiting in Kansas City. The Chiefs rank 18th for DK points surrendered to QBs (per Pro Football Reference). Nix will be overlooked because many still do not believe in his dual-threat capabilities. Use this opportunity for leverage against the field. Weird things happen in division games.

Jayden Daniels (QB – WAS): DK $7,500 vs. PIT (Fade)

The Washington Commanders currently are the second seed in the NFC with a 7-2 record. Jayden Daniels is a big catalyst behind the turnaround. Unfortunately, the matchup against Pittsburgh has me shying away from rostering him this week. Mike Tomlin has had two weeks to prepare for Daniels. The Steelers are the second-stingiest team against opposing QBs with 13.4 DK points allowed per game (per Pro Football Reference). I expect a low-scoring game because of how methodical Pittsburgh plays. Paying up $200 more DK for Josh Allen is the move in a plus matchup.

Running Backs

Saquon Barkley (RB – PHI): DK $8,300 at DAL (Cash)

Fresh off a backward hurdle heard around the world, Saquon Barkley was Week 9’s RB1 with 36.90 DK points scored. With another positive game script in order, Barkley will have every chance to score 30+ DK points yet again. Dak Prescott is out for multiple weeks so I do not see how competitive this game will be. Dallas, schedule adjusted allows the fourth most DK points with 28 per game (per Pro Football Reference). Sit back and enjoy another spike week from #26.

Aaron Jones (RB – MIN): DK $6,700 at JAC (Cash)

Since returning from injury three weeks ago, Aaron Jones is averaging 21 touches, three receptions, and 14.77 DK points per game. It was good seeing the Vikings snap their two-game losing skid on Sunday night football. If Minnesota plans on keeping their momentum, it will come at the Jaguars’ expense. Jacksonville concedes the third most DK points to RBs with 28.7 per game (per Pro Football Reference). Jones should smash in this spot and finish inside the top ten.

Austin Ekeler (RB – WAS): DK $5,800 vs. PIT (GPP)

With reports of Brian Robinson Jr. expected to miss his second consecutive game, Austin Ekeler will lead the Commanders backfield once more. Last week against the New York football Giants, Ekeler was solid scoring 17.3 DK points off of 12 opportunities. Ekeler’s matchup against Pittsburgh is not ideal. The Steelers give up the sixth-fewest DK points to RBs (per Pro Football Reference). Although Washington are (-2.5) point home favorites, I think they will be playing from behind. If Ekeler can receive some dump offs, he could pay off as a contrarian pick.

Tony Pollard (RB – TEN): DK $6,900 at LAC (Fade)

Tennessee had an amazing overtime win last week versus New England. Tony Pollard had 31 touches for 154 total scrimmage yards and 21.4 DK points in that game. Pollard’s Week 10 matchup in Los Angeles is not good. The Chargers give up the second-fewest DK points to RBs (per Pro Football Reference). Furthermore, Will Levis is returning. Pollard could be game-scripted out early on if the Titans struggle to move the ball. For $400 less DK pivot to D’Andre Swift.

Wide Receivers

Justin Jefferson (WR – MIN): DK $8,800 at JAC (Cash)

Think it is safe to say I like the Vikings pieces more than usual. Across the board, Jaguar’s defense is subpar. Jacksonville, schedule adjusted allows the second most DK points to WRs with 39.6 per game (per Pro Football Reference). Justin Jefferson will be a tough cover. Over the last three games, Jefferson has averaged over 20 DK points. Jefferson is currently the WR2 on the season. It would not shock me to see Jefferson post a 10-150-2 stat line on Sunday.

George Pickens (WR – PIT): DK $6,800 at WAS (Cash)

A few weeks ago when Russell Wilson returned from injury, George Pickens’ game took off. In the last three games, Pickens had seven targets, four receptions, 79 yards, and 14.93 DK points per game. Pickens’ matchup is very appealing this week because newly acquired cornerback Marshon Lattimore will not be playing. Washington is 16th versus opposing WRs (per Pro Football Reference). Pickens has an amazing stretch of games coming up (starting with this matchup) so do not miss out on rostering him while he is under 7K.

Rome Odunze (WR – CHI): DK $5,200 vs. NE (GPP)

After a hot start to the season, the Chicago Bears have lost two straight. Offensive line and playcalling have been issues, but Rome Odunze is starting to find his groove. Odunze had his second 100-yard game of the year against Arizona. The Patriots-Bears over/under of (38.5) will keep folks away, but I like Odunze as a one-off play. New England is middle of the pack against WRs, but if Odunze keeps building a strong rapport with Caleb Williams, he just may supplant DJ Moore as the team’s WR1 by year’s end.

Terry McLaurin (WR – WAS): DK $7,300 vs. PIT (Fade)

Terry McLaurin is having the best season of his career. McLaurin is currently the WR7 on the season. He was a player I invested in a lot this off-season on the potential of improved QB play. As happy as I have been rostering McLaurin, this matchup against Pittsburgh is difficult. The Steelers only gave up four touchdowns and the eighth fewest DK points to WRs (per Pro Football Reference). McLaurin is the fifth highest-priced WR on the slate. For $100 less on DK, I am more comfortable playing Garrett Wilson against Arizona in a better game environment.

Tight Ends

George Kittle (TE – SF): DK $5,800 at TB (Cash)

It will be interesting to see how much George Kittle’s involvement will change with McCaffrey returning. Kittle is currently the TE2 on the season with 40 receptions, 503 yards, six touchdowns, and averaging 12.6 yards per catch. Kittle has a plus matchup against the Bucs. Tampa Bay, schedule adjusted is allowing the second most DK points to TEs with 16 per game (per Pro Football Reference). Get ready for another strong output from Kittle.

Dalton Kincaid (TE – BUF): DK $4,900 at IND (Cash)

For Week 10 Buffalo travels to Indianapolis for a date with the Colts. Amari Cooper is questionable and Keon Coleman has been ruled out. Dalton Kincaid has a juicy matchup and should see a modest bump up in targets. Indy,  schedule adjusted gives up the fourth most DK points to TEs with 15.6 per game (per Pro Football Reference). Kincaid has scored double-digit DK points three times this season. I am expecting a fourth time of 10+ DK points after this week.

Taysom Hill (TE – NO): DK $4,000 vs. ATL (GPP)

After winning two straight to start the season, New Orleans currently are on a seven-game losing streak. The Saints are also playing without their best WR in Chris Olave. As a result, Taysom Hill will receive more opportunities to produce. Hill is a jack of all trades due to how New Orleans utilizes him. Hill has a passer rating of 122.2 with 702 yards and four touchdowns in 15 games against the Falcons in his career (per statmuse.com). Atlanta surrenders the 10th most DK points to TEs (per Pro Football Reference). Playing Hill is always a gamble, but if he delivers, watch out.

Jake Ferguson (TE – DAL): DK $5,000 vs. PHI (Fade)

Last week I had Jake Ferguson as someone to roster. Ferguson was the TE7 with 7 catches for 71 yards off of 10 targets. This week against the Eagles presents a tougher challenge. As stated earlier, Dak is out for at least the next four games. Furthermore, Philadelphia allows the second-fewest DK points to TEs (per Pro Football Reference). I love Ferguson’s talent and team role, but I do not have confidence in paying up for the sixth-highest-priced TE on this slate.

Top Stacks

1. 49ers-Brock Purdy, Deebo Samuel (if he plays), George Kittle

2. Vikings-Sam Darnold, Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison

3. Bills-Josh Allen, Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid

4. Falcons-Kirk Cousins, Drake London (if he plays), Darnell Mooney

5. Jets-Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Garrett Wilson
