There are a few more skilled players available in the Week 10 rankings now that only four teams are on bye. However, there’s still a huge list of injuries below to deal with. The Week 10 rankings will be updated consistently as we get closer to kick off. The biggest injuries to monitor at the running back position are Sony Michel and Chris Carson. Mike Davis would become a solid RB2 if Carson misses time as he’s been pretty successful when given a full work load as you’ll see below. Week 10 likely means the return of Leonard Fournette, as long as he doesn’t suffer a setback at practice. On the wide receiver front, A.J Green is sidelined for at least the next two weeks, so hopefully owners have a backup plan. Like Fournette, Allen Robinson is expected to return in Week 10.
Teams on bye:
Baltimore Ravens
Denver Broncos
Houston Texans
Minnesota Vikings
I’m going to have to dust off the PS2 so I can get a Josh McCown and Derek Anderson matchup on the go.

Week 10 Rankings
David Johnson, RB – Arizona Cardinals
Kansas City ranks 32nd in rush DVOA, according to Football Outsiders. They’ve allowed the eighth-most rushing yards per game and the most fantasy points to running backs. They enter Week 10 having allowed the second-most catches to running backs. David Johnson’s four catches in Week 8 after the OC change, were the second-most he’s had this season and he finished with a season high 41 receiving yards. He ended up with 20 total touches and should get some work in the passing game as KC can’t be stopped offensively.
Joe Mixon, RB – Cincinnati Bengals
You’re obviously starting Joe Mixon, but this is a very tough matchup for him. If Giovani Bernard sits again, I’ll probably bump him back up inside the top 10 due to the few catches he’ll likely have in a potential shootout. The New Orleans Saints have allowed a league-low 76.4 rushing yards per game and Todd Gurley is coming off one of his worst games of the season.
Mike Davis, RB – Seattle Seahawks
Mike Davis checked in the top 10 in touches in Week 4 when Chris Carson was sidelined and that’s exactly what we saw in Week 9. It’s also what you should expect if Carson can’t suit up in Week 10. Carson left last week’s game early with a hip injury and Davis took over the backfield with 22 touches and 107 yards. He had 62 rushing yards on 15 carries and caught seven of his eight targets for another 45 yards. Davis totaled 124 yards on 25 touches with two touchdowns in Week 4.
Maurice Harris, WR – Washington Redskins
Maurice Harris is one of the hottest waiver wire picks in Week 10, at least for me he is. I myself will be starting him in leagues and you may have to as well if you lost A.J. Green and Doug Baldwin sits out. The Washington Redskins don’t have a lot of options in the passing game and Harris finished Week 9 with a season-high 12 targets, 10 catches and 124 yards. It was a great matchup against the Atlanta Falcons and it’s a plus one in Week 10 as well against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Paul Richardson (knee) is done for the season and Jamison Crowder hasn’t played in weeks. At least Harris received that kind of workload which can’t be said for the rest of the crew in Washington. The most catches/yards Josh Doctson has had in a game in 2018 is 5/49 and no other active WR has topped three targets or two catches in a game this season.
