Welcome to Week 11 of Money Makers and Heart Breakers for the 2024 NFL season! Every week I break down the main slate to tell you who is going to get you some money and who is going to break your heart.
So we are in Week 11 of the NFL season. That means a lot of you are bowing out of leagues as the playoffs start to take shape. You can and should just switch to DFS. You can play every week through the end of the season. That also means you will have a reason to read Money Makers and Heart Breakers. As if you needed a reason.
Here is a brief definition of each of my terms for anyone that might be new:
💰 Money Maker – This player will perform better than expectations
💔 Heart Breaker – This player will perform lower than expectations
Week 11 Money Makers💰
Quarterbacks
Rusell Wilson
Yes, I am in with Mr. Unlimited in Week 11. He has a new wide receiver in Mike Williams that gives him another red-zone threat. The Steelers have really found something this season in Wilson, he has opened up their passing game. To top it off the Steelers play the Ravens in Week 11. The Ravens have given up multiple touchdowns in five out of the last six games. The Ravens give up the second most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. His touchdown upside in Week 11 is unlimited.

Jared Goff
Goff has been a little up and down when it comes to fantasy production this season. The Lions play the Jaguars in Week 11 and the Jaguars give up the third most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Quarterbacks have exceeded 15 fantasy points in all but one game against the Jaguars this season. Goff has multiple touchdown passes in six of the last seven games. I am going to Jared this week in DFS and season-long.

Bo Nix
Believe it or not, Bo Nix is the QB9 right now in standard fantasy leagues. He has been a top 10 option. In the four games Nix has faced teams that are bottom 10 against the pass, Nix is averaging over 20 fantasy points a game. In Week 11 Denver plays the Falcons. The Falcons give up the seventh most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. Are you picking up what I am putting down? That’s right, another bottom feeder for Nix to pick on.

Running Backs
Kareem Hunt
The Chiefs are winning by running the football and playing defense. Hunt is the guy handling the running part of this. Hunt has over 20 total touches in five straight games. The volume will be there and volume is king. But wait there’s more! The Chiefs play the Bills in Week 11. The Bills give up the second most fantasy points to opposing teams running backs. In 9 out of 10 games this season, at least one running back on a team has scored double-digit points against the Bills. Kareem Hunt will plod his way to 10 fantasy points yet again in Week 11.

Nick Chubb
Chubb is coming off a bye week to play the Saints. He should be in football shape now. Which is good. The Saints are bad at defending the run. In the last six games, seven running backs have scored 14 or more fantasy points against the Saints defense. Chubb will get some production here.

David Montgomery
We have already mentioned that the Lions are playing the Jaguars. The Jaguars are bad at defense, they cannot defend the pass or the run. As a matter of fact, the Jaguars give up the fifth most fantasy points to running backs. Montgomery is a sure thing to get double-digit fantasy points; he has surpassed 11 or more fantasy points in eight of nine games this season. He got hurt in the game and he didn’t make it to double digits. Expect Monty (I like to call him Monty) to score a touchdown this week as well. Give me the full Monty baby!

Wide Receivers
George Pickens
I like the Steelers’ passing game against the Ravens. The Ravens give up the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. The matchup is really good. Pickens is also really good. He leads the Steelers in targets and has a 26% target share. In the three games with Wilson at quarterback Pickens has had over 70 yards in each game and has scored two touchdowns. The stars have aligned for Pickens to have his biggest game of the season. I am picking George in Week 11.

Courtland Sutton
In the last three games, Sutton has a total of 30 targets. Did you do the math? That is an average of 10 targets a game. He has a total of 21 receptions, 292 yards, and one touchdown in those three games. The volume will be there. The story for Week 11 gets a little better when you realize the Falcons give up the ninth most fantasy points to wide receivers. Bingo, bango, bongo, put Sutton in your DFS lineup.

Amon-Ra St. Brown
I am going to the Lions well yet again in this article. St. Brown has a 27% target share with is the most on the Lions. St. Brown has scored a touchdown in seven straight games. He has double-digit fantasy scores in seven out of nine games this season. We know the Jaguars are bad against the pass. The Sun God is going to shine bright in Week 11.

Tight Ends
Dalton Kincaid
Kincaid has missed some practice time this week with a knee injury. If he can go Sunday against the Chiefs he will see the best match he has had this season. The Chiefs give up the second most fantasy points to tight ends. The Bills are missing bodies at wide receiver. Kincaid can get on track in Week 11.

Hunter Henry
The Patriots play the Rams in Week 11. The Rams are bottom 10 against defending tight ends. Henry plays 89% of the Patriots snaps at tight end. The most of any tight end on the team. Henry leads the team in receptions with 40. He also leads the Patriots in receiving yards with 428. Hunter Henry has an 18% target share as well. This is a week to play Henry in DFS. Price, production, and match-up all meet in Week 11.

Taysom Hill
The Saints are short running backs after Alvin Kamara. If you know anything about Taysom, he is really more like a fullback classified as a tight end. Hill has over 50 years in each of the last two games. He is going to catch a couple of passes, he is going to run the ball five or six times, and he will be used in the red zone. Get some Taysom into your line ups in Week 11.

Packers
The Packers play the Bears in Week 11. The Bears are a mess right now. In the last two games, both the Cardinals and Patriots defenses have scored over 10 fantasy points against the Bears. Caleb Williams looks unsure, the Wide Receivers look unhappy, and the Packers have a very good defense. This game sets up as one where the Packers will have 5 or more sacks, and the Bears will not score a lot of points.

Rams
The Rams defense has scored double-digit fantasy points in three of the last five games. They have scored two touchdowns in the span. The Rams have multiple sacks in every game and a total of eight interceptions in that span. To top it all off they play the Patriots. The Patriots give up the sixth most fantasy points to defense. Expect the Patriots to turn the ball over somewhere. I am really sad writing this as a lifelong Patriots fan, like really sad. My keyboard is getting wet from the tears I have to move on.

Vikings
The Vikings are one of the best defenses in fantasy football. This defense has scored the most fantasy points in season-long. They get a lot of sacks and interceptions and do not allow a lot of points to be scored. In Week 11 they also will play the Titans. The Titans give up the second most fantasy points to opposing teams’ defenses. The Vikings will

💔Heart Breakers
Quarterbacks
Jordan Love
The Bears give up the least amount of fantasy points to quarterbacks. Only one quarterback has surpassed 20 fantasy points against the Bears this season. I typically Love Jordan but I’ll pass on him in Week 11.
Gardner Minshew
Let’s just say the Raider’s passing offense is ok. We can also say the Dolphins defense against quarterbacks is really good. How good? Well, they give up the second fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. So, we have a mediocre offense against a good defense, this is too easy. There will be no Minshew-mania this week.
Lamar Jackson
The Ravens play the Steelers in Week 11. The Steelers defense has allowed only one quarterback to reach 18 fantasy points this season. No one has scored more than that against them. Last week this defense shut down Jayden Daniels, this week they give Lamar Jackson fits. I am playing him in season long but staying away in DFS.
Running Backs
James Cook
The Chief’s defense is very good at stopping the run. They are literally the toughest defense against running backs. Running backs average 52 yards rushing per week against the Chiefs. The Bills play the Chiefs in Week 11. James Cook is the Bills starting running back. I know you just picked up what I put down.
Tony Pollard
The Titans play against a Vikings defense that is great. This defense allows the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing teams running backs. I Pollard has been good this season. He probably won’t be in Week 11. The Vikings build a shield wall and Pollard just can’t get through it.
Travis Etienne
Etienne has been mediocre at best this season. The Lions are up this week for the Jaguars. The Lions are very good at stopping running backs from producing fantasy points. This week Travis is the King, the King of Mediocrity.
NOTE: Mediocre was my word of the week. If you want to have fun sing King of Mediocrity to the melody of Cult of Personality by the band Living Colour. It was released in 1988 which is before most of you were born. Damn, I am old.
Wide Receivers
Michael Pittman
The Colts play the Jets in Week 11. Anthony Richardson can’t seem to get the ball to Pittman. So we have incompetent quarterback play against a defense that defends wide receivers well. Hot dog, this one was easy. We call him Michale Sit-man this week.
Justin Jefferson
This guy will produce something this week. But the Vikings are playing the Titans. The Titans give up the third-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. So I am playing him in season long but there is no way I am paying up in DFS.
Tyreek Hill
Hill has been blah most of the season. He is dinged up with a wrist issue. The Dolphins play the Raiders in Week 11. Believe it or not, as bad as the Raiders are, wide receivers struggle against them. I expect the Dolphins to run and run some more in Week 11.
Tight Ends
Evan Engram
It doesn’t matter if it is Mac Jones or Trevor Lawrence at quarterback. The Lions are up and they defend tight ends well. I hate this. I wanted Engram to see 100 targets and produce again this season. Instead, I just threw up in my mouth.
TJ Hockenson
The Titans defend all passes well. Or do they? They may just stink so bad that teams run more against them. Anyway, I don’t expect Hockenson to do so well in Week 11.
