The starts and sits for Week 12 took a hit, but at least Bucky Irving was featured. Remember, I am just a chill guy. We move on to Week 13 with just two weeks left before the real chaos begins in the Fantasy Football playoffs.
Heads will turn, but these starts will help you do one thing, which is WIN. Here are the Week 13 starts and sits.
Week 13 Quarterback Starts
Bryce Young vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Football shows you one thing, and that is all the players are professionals. Bryce Young was labeled a bust. He was benched earlier in the season. Since then, Young has finished inside the top 20 quarterbacks three times in his last four games. Yes, that does not seem good, but it is better than his QB29 and QB33 finishes earlier in the season.
In week 12 against the defending champions, Young had his best finish of the season as the QB14. Now he gets the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A team that has had horrible pass defense all year. Currently, the Buccaneers are allowing 21.97 ppg to quarterbacks, which is second most. The Buccaneers have also allowed 20 passing touchdowns, which is the sixth most. Fire up Bryce Young this week.
Russell Wilson @ Cincinnati Bengals
Russell Wilson has come a long way from his awful Subway sandwich to giving the Pittsburgh Steelers a shot at the AFC North crown. He gets to face the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are two weeks removed from allowing Justin Herbert to have his highest QB1 finish of the season. They also have allowed 19 passing touchdowns to just six interceptions this season. Wilson should get to cooking with George Pickens and the rest of the offense. Let Wilson cook in Week 13 for your fantasy football teams.

Quarterback Sits
Jordan Love vs. Miami Dolphins
All you need is love in life, but in Week 13, Jordan Love should be on your bench. The weather in Green Bay for Thanksgiving will be around 30 degrees. This smells like a game where both teams will be running the ball a ton. The Miami Dolphins also are allowing the third-fewest fantasy ppg to quarterbacks with just 11 passing touchdowns allowed through 11 games. I am a Packers fan, and I will not be biased. Jordan Love should not be started in a game where I believe the Packers will rely on Josh Jacobs.
Tua Tagovailoa @ Green Bay Packers
The reasoning I used for Jordan Love applies to Tua Tagovailoa as well. The other issue I have with Tagovailoa is that he has a record of 1-7 with nine touchdowns and 12 interceptions when the game is under 50 degrees. This smells like a game where DeVon Achane and the rest of the Dolphins’ running back room will have to carry the load to give them a chance to win. This is an almost must-win for the Dolphins, and I believe if they win, it won’t be because of Tagovailoa. Despite the consecutive QB1 weeks, keep him on your bench in Week 13.
Week 13 Running Back Starts
Rhamondre Stevenson vs. Indianapolis Colts
Rhamondre Stevenson did not get a chance to produce last week in a blowout against the Miami Dolphins. He has a fantastic shot at having an RB1 week against the Indianapolis Colts, who allow the fifth most fantasy ppg to running backs with 25.18 ppg. The Colts are allowing 127 rushing ypg to running backs and ten rushing touchdowns. In what should be a much more positive game script, I love Stevenson in Week 13, and he is my favorite start in starts and sits.
Rico Dowdle vs. New York Giants
Rico Dowdle saw his most carries and rushing yards since Week 5. I expect his workload to continue to increase with Ceedee Lamb nursing an injury and Cooper Rush as the quarterback. The New York Giants got torched in Week 12 and allowed all the Buccaneers’ running backs and Baker Mayfield to record a rushing touchdown. Expect Dowdle to find the endzone on Turkey Day and post a top-15 finish amongst running backs in Week 13.
Running Back Sits
D’Andre Swift vs. Detroit Lions
D’Andre Swift is set to have a rough Turkey Day when it comes to the football field. The Detroit Lions are flat-out the best team in football and have a top-three defense. They have given up just 16.33 fantasy ppg to running backs, which is the second-fewest to go along with just seven touchdowns and under 70 rushing ypg allowed. It looks like there is no stopping the Lions this year, and I expect them to roll by the Chicago Bears.
James Conner @ Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings are allowing 16.87 fantasy ppg (third fewest) and just 62 rushing ypg. James Conner has 263 rushing yards less on the road and averages 1.8 ypc less. I am calling it now, but this will be a game where we see Kyler Murray look like the great Kyler Murray from a passing perspective, as the Vikings are allowing the second most fantasy ppg to wide receivers. I have done it numerous times and will do it again in Week 13, and that is keeping James Conner on the bench.
