I know many of you didn’t make the playoffs in your season-long leagues. Do not get depressed because we get to play DFS. DFS where the fun never ends, well at least it keeps going as long as the NFL season does.
I am under the weather a bit this week, so I am keeping the intro short. Good luck to those of you in the first week of your fantasy playoffs.
Here is a brief definition of each of my terms for anyone that might be new:
💰 Money Maker – This player will perform better than expectations
💔 Heart Breaker – This player will perform lower than expectations
Week 15 Money Makers💰
Quarterbacks
Bryce Young
The Panthers play the Cowboys in Week 15. The Cowboys give up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. Young has at least one touchdown in each of his past six games. Two weeks ago he played against the Buccaneers who are also bottom five against quarterbacks. He passed for 298 yards and scored two touchdowns in that game. This is one of the few weeks I can actually say to play Bryce Young.

$6,800 on FanDuel
Kyler Murray
Murray has passed for over 250 yards and/or multiple touchdowns in each of the last four games. In Week 15 he gets to play the Patriots defense that allows the 13th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Pats allow an average of 227 yards and two touchdowns per game to quarterbacks. Mighty Mouse is on his way to save the day.
$6,000 on DraftKings
$7,800 on FanDuel
Tua Tagovailoa
Tua has thrown for multiple touchdowns in four straight games. He has 11 touchdowns over that span and has not scored under 23 fantasy points. He has been on fire. In Week 15 the Dolphins will play the Texans. The Texans give up the 10th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. I am playing Tua with confidence this week.

Running Backs
Rico Dowdle
The Panthers give up the most fantasy points to running backs. The Cowboys play the Panthers in Week 15. Rico is the starting running back for the Cowboys. In the past two games Dowdle has averaged 22 touches and 131 total yards per game. 17 different running backs have scored double-digit fantasy points against the Panthers this season. At least one in every single game. Dowdle will have the volume against a team that will simply allow him to run.
$6,100 on DraftKings
$7,100 on FanDuel
Chuba Hubbard
If you really want to have fun you can run it back with Chuba Hubbard in the same game. That is because the Cowboys give up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing teams running backs. Hubbard has been really good this season. He has almost no competition for touches and he is playing against a turnstile defense. What is not to like?
$6,500 on DraftKings
$7,500 on FanDuel
David Montgomery
Monty has double-digit fantasy scores in all but one game this season. He is the overall RB10 for the season. In Week 15 he gets to play a Bills defense that gives up the third most fantasy points to running backs. That’s right the Bills funnel you to the run. Now with that said Jahmyr Gibbs is also a great play in a game that is the highest over-under on the main slate at 54.5 points. This should be a fun one.

NOTE: James Cook and Isaac Guerendo also have great matchups this week.
Wide Receivers
Tyreek Hill
In the past two games, Tyreek has looked like his old self. He has 23 targets in those games which he turned into 16 receptions, 198 yards, and two touchdowns. The Texans who are up in Week 15 give up the fourth most fantasy points to wide receivers. This could be the week Tyreek’s touchdown total passes the number of children he had in 2024.
$7,400 on DraftKings
$8,700 on FanDuel
Amari Cooper
In Week 14 Cooper had 14 targets. That was a 38% share of the Bills’ targets. He turned that into 6 receptions for 95 yards. The Lions are up in Week 15 and give the seventh most fantasy points to wide receivers. As mentioned earlier this game has the highest over-under on the main slate at 54.5 points. Looks like a shootout is coming between Bills pass catchers and Lions running backs.

$5,900 on FanDuel
Terry McLaurin
Terry has been very scary this season. He has double-digit fantasy scores in 10 of the last 11 games. McLaurin leads the Commanders in target share with 21% of the targets this season. The Commanders play the Rams in Week 15. The Rams gave up 263 yards and 2 touchdowns to Bills wide receivers in Week 14. The Rams let you pass on them, so don’t pass on McLaurin in Week 15.

Tight Ends
Jake Ferguson
The Panthers stink on defense. They are so bad that they give up the most fantasy points to tight ends. Ferguson gets a healthy dose of targets in the Cowboys offense. He had a 19% target share in Week 14. Look for Cooper Rush to get the ball to Fergy against this defense that leaves the middle of the field open.
$3,800 on DraftKings
$5,400 on FanDuel
David Njoku
In the last two games, Njoku has seen 30 total targets. He has 16 receptions, 94 yards and 3 touchdowns in those two games. In Week 15 he gets to play a Chiefs defense that gives up the third most fantasy points to tight ends. Winston is going to sling it and Njoku will see a large portion of those targets.
$5,200 on DraftKings
$6,500 on FanDuel
Travis Kelce
You know who else is a bottom 10 team at defending tight ends? The Browns. Kelce has a 23% target share of the Chiefs passes. He leads the team in targets(108), receptions (80), receiving yards (682). He only has two touchdowns this season. In Week 15 he gets to play the Browns who give up the eighth most fantasy points to tight ends. Travis will look to get a touchdown this week.

DEF
Commanders
The Commanders will play the Saints in Week 15. Derek Carr is out, Taysom Hill is out, Chris Olave is out. The Saints will mostly not be marching in this week. It is much more likely that the Commanders’ defense gets to rattle Spencer Rattler whoever the Saints roll out there at quarterback. This is a great spot for the Commanders defense.
$3,400 on DraftKings
$4,700 on FanDuel
Ravens
Another team playing a backup quarterback is the Giants. The Giants give up the third most fantasy points to opposing teams’ defenses. The past three defenses to play the Giants have all surpassed double-digit fantasy scores. There have been two main reasons for this, The Giants aren’t scoring a lot of points and they give up a bunch of sacks.
$3,900 on DraftKings
$5,000 on FanDuel
Bengals
The Bengals play the Titans in Week 15. The Titans give up the most fantasy points to opposing defenses. The Bengals defense is not spectacular but has scored 8 fantasy points in each of the past two games. So we can expect Will Levis to get sacked and to throw an interception in this game.
$3,500 on DraftKings
$4,000 on FanDuel
💔Heart Breakers
Quarterbacks
Jalen Hurts
The Steelers are the opponent in Week 15. The Steelers give up the least amount of fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Quarterbacks have passed for five touchdowns against them the last two games so there is hope. If you have Hurts in season long I am sure you are playing him. But not in DFS.
Jared Goff
The Lions are playing the Bills in Week 15. The Bills defense actually defends the pass well. It is a run-funnel defense that invites you to run and run some more. The Lions are excellent at running the football. Expect big games from Gibbs and Montgomery.
Anthony Richardson
Richardson is playing against a Broncos defense that had an extra week to prepare for him. He has not been great as it is, so imagine how this defense will come out of the gate after him. Sometimes the heartbreakers are just too easy and this is one of those times.
Running Backs
Jonathan Taylor
The Broncos defense is pretty good against the run. Not great but pretty good. Taylor has not been great against good defenses. Taylor has only broken double-digit fantasy scores in 3 out of the last six games. He will not score double digits this week.
Najee Harris
The Steelers will play the Eagles in Week 15. Najee will more than likely get the volume to push himself over 10 fantasy points but I wouldn’t expect much more than that. So I am playing him in season-long but not in DFS.
James Cook
The Bills play the Lions in Week 15. The Lions give up the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs. I like Cook but I am not willing to play him against the defense that has allowed only two running backs to score more than 10 fantasy points in the last 7 games. The Bills will pass the ball a lot in Week 15.
Wide Receivers
Nico Collins
The Dolphins allow the second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. The Texans will play them in Week 15. Oh, who am I kidding I would still play Nico Collins in Week 15. He has just one week where he has not scored in double-digit fantasy points this season if you want to play him.
NOTE: Checking to see if you read this far.
Tee Higgins
The Titans give up the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing teams wide receivers. I would love to pretend it is because they are good. This is because teams tend to get up on the Titans and then run the ball. The Bengals play the Titans in Week 15.
Zay Flowers
Flowers has been below 10 fantasy points in three out of the last four games. The Ravens are playing the Eagles who defend the pass well in Week 15. The Eagles funnel teams to the run. Derek Henry will have a big day and the receivers will not for the Ravens this week.
Tight Ends
Sam LaPorta
LaPorta has been a roller coaster ride this season with weird ups and downs. In Week 15 he is playing against a Bills defense that covers tight ends really well. I am not nearly daring enough to play LaPorta unless I have to.
Cade Otton
Otton has seen the volume of passes going his way drop significantly in the past three games. In Week 15 the Buccaneers will play the Chargers. The Chargers allow the ninth fewest fantasy points to tight ends. Let’s play simple correlation bingo here. Cade Otton is seeing less volume and playing a tough defense. This is an easy one. YUCK!
