It’s playoff time in the fantasy football world. If you’re reading this, your team is likely still standing, so congratulations on your postseason berth! However, there’s still work to be done in your quest to nab the ultimate prize. The Week 15 quarterback rankings are here to help with that goal by highlighting the week’s favorable matchups. To find out which signal-callers can help you move to the next round, let’s turn to the Week 15 quarterback rankings and notes.
Injury Notes for Week 15
- Aidan O’Connell has a bone bruise in his left knee and is questionable for Week 15. If he’s unable to suit up, Desmond Ridder will be under center for the Raiders in a Monday night matchup against the Falcons.
- Derek Carr suffered a significant fracture in his non-throwing hand and is likely done for the season. Either Jake Haener or Spencer Rattler will take over as the Saints’ starter moving forward. Both are desperation plays for fantasy.
Quarterback Notes
- Tua Tagovailoa is on a tear of late. He scored at least 23.5 fantasy points in his last four games while throwing over 315 yards in three of those starts. Tagovailoa also scored 11 passing touchdowns in that span, tied for second-most among quarterbacks. The touchdowns should keep coming in Week 15. Tagovailoa faces a porous Texans defense that has allowed 26 scores through the air, tied for most this season. They’ve also ceded 18.2 fantasy points per game to the position. Tagovailoa should bring fantasy goodness to playoff lineups this week and ranks as QB6 in the Week 15 quarterback rankings.
- Sam Darnold is fresh off a career game, completing 78.6% of his passes for 347 yards and a whopping five touchdowns. While we shouldn’t expect a repeat in Week 15, Darnold should still deliver the fantasy goods against the division-rival Bears. While Chicago has fronted one of the better defenses against quarterbacks this season, they’ve faltered lately. In their previous four games, they’ve allowed an average of 284.3 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 20.1 fantasy points per game to the position. That included a 330-yard and two-touchdown performance from Darnold in Week 12. Darnold should be able to pile up the fantasy points again and is QB7 in the Week 15 quarterback rankings.
- Bo Nix has been one of the more pleasant surprises of the season. The rookie has come on especially strong since Week 5, racking up the fifth-most fantasy points among quarterbacks in that nine-game stretch. He’s also been airing it out of late, averaging 291.3 passing yards in his last three starts. Nix should continue to move the ball through the air against the Colts in Week 15. Indianapolis has had trouble containing the pass, allowing the sixth-most passing yards to the position this season. They’ve also been a middling unit on the ground, an area where Nix can take advantage. Nix is a top-eight play in the Week 15 quarterback rankings.
- Aaron Rodgers has one of the best matchups on the Week 15 slate. He faces off against a Jaguars defense that’s had problems stopping quarterbacks all year. They’ve allowed 275 passing yards, 1.8 passing touchdowns, and 22.4 fantasy points per game to the position, all good for second-most in the league. Rodgers has been far from lights-out this year, but there’s room for optimism. He’s coming off his first 300+ yard game and has a 10:1 TD:INT ratio in his past six games — a significant improvement from the 10:7 ratio in his first seven games. The opportunity is there for Rodgers to succeed this week, making him a solid quarterback streamer in the Week 15 quarterback rankings.
