Week 17 Starting Pitcher Rankings for Fantasy Baseball

Heading into a shortened week, due to the All-Star break, we only see a partial slate of pitchers on the list this week. This presents a couple of unique opportunities to leverage open lineup spots in strategic ways. The first is to stream starting pitchers with tempting matchups, like Jose Soriano against Oakland or Brady Singer against the White Sox. The other option is to go heavier on closers to pick up ground in the saves category over the weekend instead of plugging an idle pitcher in the lineup.
