I know, I know. Having to plug kickers and defenses into your fantasy lineups is one of the worst parts of fantasy football. Especially when you get beat because of it. But you get what you get, and you don’t get upset. So, let’s take a look at three potential defenses that could score you some points. There’s no reason you can’t be the one who wins their matchup because of their defense, right?

Washington Football Team Defense
The Washington Football Team had one of the best defenses in the league last year. So much so, it propelled them into the playoffs with a weak record, and no real starting QB. This year, they got off to a shakier start against the Chargers, but you could still see what makes this defense special. Washington takes on a Giants team that has a Saquon Barkley that looks like he doesn’t need to be feared, and a Daniel Jones who can put the ball on the turf with the best of them. Add in the fact that the game has the lowest total in Vegas, and you’re looking at a team that has the potential to give you double-digit fantasy points this week.
New York Giants Defense
Well, it looks like we’re going to have a sloppy game on our hands in this one. That’ll be fun to watch. It’s easy to understand why this game is the lowest total on the slate in Vegas this week. We’ve already talked about the Washington defense and what makes them attractive this week. The Giants defense may have its fun as well. Ryan Fitzpatrick is out for at least 8 weeks with a hip injury, which leads to a new starter in Taylor Heinicke whose only experience starting came with a valiant effort in last year’s playoff game against the Bucs. I imagine the Giants will stack the box against Antonio Gibson, and make Heinicke try and beat them through the air. If Washington thought Heinicke was capable of doing that, they would’ve made him the starter outright this season. I’m expecting turnovers.
Denver Broncos Defense
The Denver Broncos are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars this week. Need I say more. Don’t overthink this one. Stream them, if they can be had.
