Week 21 Draft EPL Waiver Wire

The week 21 EPL waiver wire comes with the weekend off in the league, instead games will start on Tuesday. So watch the calendar and fixture list.

Week 20 suggestions Harry Wilson scored over 20, even without a goal or assist. Neco Williams was in double digits with a solid clean sheet performance. Paul Onuachu disappointed. Jarell Quansah remained on the bench as Liverpool defenders returned from injury.

Nottingham Forest has won six in a row and deservedly are in second. Newcastle continues to roll too, with five straight. At the other end of the table, all three promoted teams currently claim the bottom three spots.

Week 21 Fantasy EPL Draft Waiver Wire

Mikel Merino Midfielder – 42% Rostered –  Arsenal vs Tottenham

Merino had mostly been a fill-in player for the Gunners throughout the season, but that may have changed. He’s started the last two with a goal in one and an assist in the other. When he does start, he’s putting up good fantasy points. He isn’t yet a locked-in starter, so you may need cover, but he’s a good pickup with a long season left to go.

Georginio Rutter Forward – 31% Rostered –  Ipswich vs Brighton

Brighton sits perfectly mid-table. They have more draws than anyone in the EPL this season. They also have injuries for key players up front. Rutter should get the start against 18th-place Ipswich. It’s a good matchup for BHA players in general, so Fantrax managers should be considering any starting BHA players on the EPL waiver wire. Rutter started and scored two goals in the FA Cup, and he was subbed off early enough that he should be available midweek.

Harry MaguireDefender – 21% Rostered –  Manchester United vs Southampton

Even with United’s struggles, Maguire has kept positive points. It was a hard-fought draw against Liverpool, and United will be hoping to build on their positive play. Southampton have just one goal in the last six games, meaning they’ve been held scoreless in five of those games. United players are all options on the EPL waiver wire this week to capitalize on the great matchup.

Danny Ings – Forward – 2% Rostered –  West Ham vs Fulham

West Ham have real injury issues with attacking players. Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio are out for a while. Niclas Füllkrug and Crysencio Summerville are both serious doubts. This all means Danny Ings should get a start. He’s a poacher and can score in bunches. He’ll want to make the most of this chance too. Opponents Fulham haven’t lost since late November, but also only have two wins and a single clean sheet since then. West Ham should have chances. There’s a ton of risk here, but there’s potential solid pay-off too if you need a forward on the EPL waiver wire.

With FA Cup games being played, be mindful of cards and injuries before finalizing your roster!

Have fun. Good luck!
