Welcome to Week 7 of Money Makers and Heart Breakers for the 2024 NFL season! Every week I break down the main slate to tell you who is going to get you some money and who is going to break your heart.
I can’t believe Week 7 is already here. This season is flying by. I am trying to keep my intro short to get right into the meat of the article. So here we go, Shimmy, shimmy, ya, shimmy, yam, shimmy, yay give me the DFS picks so we can take it away.
Here is a brief definition of each of my terms for anyone that might be new:
💰 Money Maker – This player will perform better than expectations
💔 Heart Breaker – This player will perform lower than expectations
Week 7 Money Makersđź’°
Quarterbacks
Matthew Stafford
Stafford is having a roller-coaster season so far. His favorite two targets have been out with injuries. He may or may not get Cooper Kupp back this week. He also gets to play the Raiders this week. The Raiders give up the eighth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. I like him this week to pass for over 250 yards and a touchdown. Maybe more if Kupp is in the lineup.

Jayden Daniels
Jayden Daniels is currently the overall QB3 for fantasy. In Week 7 Daniels gets to play a Panthers defense that gives up 231 yards and 2 touchdowns per week to quarterbacks. Are you picking up what I am putting down here? Daniels is going to pass, he is going to run, and Jayden Daniels is going to score touchdowns in Week 7.
$7,6000 on DraftKings
$9,100 on FanDuel
Andy Dalton
The Panthers play the Commanders in Week 7. The Commanders give up the ninth most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Every quarterback to play the Commanders has passed for at least one touchdown this season. Dalton has multiple touchdowns in 3 out of 4 starts. Big day for the red rocket, um, I mean rifle.

Running Backs
Tony Pollard
Pollard is the only bright spot for the Titans offense this season. He has double-digit fantasy points in all but one game thus far. In Week 7 Pollard gets to face a Bills defense that gives up the second most fantasy points to opposing teams running backs.
$6,300 on DraftKings
$7,100 on FanDuel
Brian Robinson
The Panthers are not only bad against the pass, but they also cannot defend the run. Running backs have scored 12 touchdowns against the Panthers this season. If Robinson is back in the lineup for Week 7 he will feast against this defense. Robinson has over 100 yards rushing or a touchdown in every game he has played this year. If he doesn’t go bump up Austin Ekeler.
$6,400 on DraftKings
$8,000 on FanDuel
Trey Sermon
The Colts play the Dolphins in Week 7. The Dolphins give up the third most fantasy points to opposing teams running backs. Trey Sermon will most likely be starting for the Colts on Sunday. The Dolphins give up 119 yards rushing, 21 yards receiving and almost 2 touchdowns per week to running backs. Trey Sermon gets a very tasty match-up.

Wide Receivers
Malik Nabers
Malik Nabers is having a great rookie season. Nabers has had a massive target share of Giants’ passes per game played this season. In Week 7 Nabers gets to take that volume up against the Eagles who give up the sixth most fantasy points to wide receivers. You can look for Nabers to get peppered with passes from Danny Jones in Week 7.

Amon-Ra St. Brown
The Vikings also do not defend the pass well The Vikings give up the third most fantasy points to wide receivers. The Lions are playing the Vikings in Week 7. Amon-Ra St. Brown, the Sun God, has a 28% target share for the Lions. Break out your sunglasses and put on SPF50 lotion because the Sun God is going to shine in Week 7. This will be Hot.

Justin Jefferson
On the other side of the same game, you have Justin Jefferson. The Lions defense that gives up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Wide receivers average 19 receptions, 211 yards, and a touchdown per week against the Lions. Jefferson will take his 31% target share and roll in Week 7. You spell his name J-E-Double F–SON!

NOTE: I wrote up the high-priced guys because I do love all three this week. I am mixing in the three I just have prices for with one of the top three in most places.
Tight Ends
George Kittle
Kittle is having a great season as he is the overall TE1 in fantasy after six weeks. In Week 7 the Niners play the Chiefs. The Chiefs give up the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Kittle has scored a touchdown in four straight games. This is a position where the Niners will take advantage against the Chiefs’ defense. The stars have completely aligned for Kittle in Week 7.
$6,000 on DraftKings
$7,500 on FanDuel
Brock Bowers
Sometimes things write themselves. Bowers is the overall TE2 and he is going up against a Rams defense that gives up the second most fantasy points to opposing teams’ tight ends. Bowers has a 22% target share of the Raiders pass attack. He is the number one option on this team in an amazing match-up.

DEF
Bills
The Bills play the Titans in Week 7. The Titans give up the most fantasy points to opposing defenses. Expect the Bills defense to show up this week with some sacks, interceptions, and more.
$3,500 on DraftKings
$5,000 on FanDuel
Rams
The Raiders are up in Week 7 for the Rams. The Raiders give up the second most fantasy points to opposing defenses. In each of the past three games, the opposing defense has surpassed 11 fantasy points against the Raiders. The Rams are coming of their bye week and have had extra time to prepare. This is a nice play in Week 7.
$3,000 on DraftKings
$4,100 on FanDuel
Bengals
The Bengals get to play the Browns in Week 7. The Browns are pathetic, even more pathetic now that they have traded away Amari Cooper. You can count on the Browns to not score a lot of points and to turn the ball over. Opposing defenses have scored 9 or more fantasy points against the Brown in five out of six games this season.

đź’”Heart Breakers
Quarter Backs
Josh Allen
The Bills play the Titans in Week 7. The Titans give up the seventh-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. You are playing Allen in season-long no matter what. But you might want to sit him in DFS. Last week I had him as a heartbreaker and he played great so maybe this is just reverse mojo to help out a couple of my season-long teams. They should get up on the Titans and run a lot.
Anthony Richardson
Believe it or not, the Dolphins allow the fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Colts will be inserting Inaccurate Richardson at quarterback in Week 7. Yuck, just yuck as far as the passing game goes. Maybe Richardson will run a lot. If you are playing him you better hope so.
Will Levis
The Titans play the Bills in Week 7. The Bills defend the pass well. Levis does not pass well. Do you need any more information?
Running Backs
Jordan Mason
The Niners play the Chiefs in Week 7. The Chiefs give up the least amount of fantasy points to running backs. Mason is dinged up as well. If Mason plays I Would play him in season-long. If Mason is out, I am not playing any other Niners running back anywhere. This will be a Brock Purdy passing week.
Jahmyr Gibbs
The Vikings defense is great. They give up the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Gibbs and David Montgomery are both excellent. This game is set up as a pass funnel shootout for the quarterbacks and wide receivers of both teams. Gibbs will need a touchdown to bring you joy.
Aaron Jones / Ty Chandler
The Lions are also exceptional at stopping the run. If Jones is out just sit Chandler instead. I don’t care who the Vikings are starting at running back. I am sitting them. Only 2 running backs have broken double-digit fantasy scores against this defense this season.
Wide Receivers
Khalil Shakir
In Week 6 Shakir saw only 2 targets which he turned into 2 receptions and 19 yards. In Week 7 the Bills will play the team that gives up the second-least fantasy points to wide receivers, the Titans. Only two wide receivers have scored double-digit fantasy scores against this Titans defense all season. Look elsewhere if you can, most likely you can.
Marvin Harrison Jr.
One week you are a Money Maker the next week a Heartbreaker. Marvin you broke my heart in Week 6 when you got hurt and left the game. It looks like you will play in Week 7. Against tough pass defenses, Harrison has not performed well this season. In Week 7 the Cardinals play the Chargers. The Chargers are tough on the pass. I am out on Harrison this week.
Michael Pittman Jr.
The Colts will play the Dolphins in Week 7. It appears as if Anthony Richardson will be back in the lineup for the Colts. You might think that is good but you would be wrong. Richardson has been anything but accurate with his pass attempts to Pittman this season. To top all of this off the Dolphins actually defend wide receivers well. They will funnel an opposing offense to the run. This is great for Colts running backs and maybe even Richardson to break off some runs, but bad for Pittman and Josh Downs.
Tight Ends
Dalton Kincaid
You don’t need to be told that Kincaid hasn’t lived up to expectations in the 2024 season. In Week 7 things get even worse. The Titans give up the least fantasy points to tight ends. To be fair, they haven’t really played any good tight ends yet, but Kincaid only has one double-digit fantasy game on the season as well. Yuck, yuck, and more yuck.
Tucker Kraft
You know what, the Texans give up the second-fewest fantasy points to tight ends. The Packers play the Texans in Week 7. There are also quite a few mouths to feed in the passing game for the Packers. Guys like Jalen Reed, Christian Watson, and Romeo Doubs will command more targets than Kraft this week. Pack it in on Kraft.
