2025 Fantasy Football: Mock Draft from the 10th Slot

This fantasy football mock draft series has three more mocks, including this one. This time, it is from the 10th slot. The same format applies. It is full PPR, in a 12-team league with one QB, two RBs, two WRs, one TE, and two FLEXs. There are four players in this draft that I have selected numerous times. These are players that I am extremely high on and will not bore you with the same information I have been spewing out. Here it goes!

What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax last season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune in the 2025 season.

Mock Draft from the 10th Slot

1.10 – Nico Collins

Nico Collins was on pace for over 2,000 receiving yards in 2024 before getting hurt. He is an offense that saw C.J. Stroud throw it 532 times. Now, Joe Mixon is hurt, and Nick Chubb is historic in terms of age for a running back. Collins had 99 targets with 1,006 receiving yards in 12 games. With Collins healthy, Christian Kirk gone, and Brevin Jordan out for the season, Collins is slotted for over 160 targets in 2025.

2.03 – Brian Thomas

For starters, Brian Thomas was the WR4 in total points in 2024 as a rookie. Now, he gets play caller, Liam Coen, as his head coach in 2025. Also, the Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Travis Hunter, who will line up across Thomas this season. Thomas was fifth in touchdowns, third in receiving yards, and fourth in yards after the catch. Overall, being able to draft Thomas at the start of the second round and pairing him up with another elite receiver is a PPR blessing.

3.10 – Alvin Kamara

Alvin Kamara is one of the best running backs for fantasy football, ever. Kamara started his career off with three consecutive seasons with 81 receptions, then had 83 in year four. Since 2021, Kamara has had the second-most receptions among running backs with 247. The New Orleans Saints are projected to be one of the worst teams in 2025, but that will not stop Kamara from his bread and butter in PPR leagues, which are receptions. Drafting him as the RB16 when he has never finished lower than RB13 is what fantasy players like to call value.

4.03 – Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts has been a part of numerous mock drafts I have done this offseason. I will repeat it once again. He is behind one of the best offensive lines in football. A tougher schedule should see him passing it more. Also, he is good for double-digit rushing touchdowns once again, like last season. Drafting him as your QB1 is like drafting a part-time running back, too.

5.10 – D’Andre Swift

First, I know that Ben Johnson had D’Andre Swift in Detroit, but pivoted elsewhere. Swift is not going anywhere. With Ben Johnson, I have full confidence in how he can unleash Swift in the fantasy landscape. This is an enormous second year for Caleb Williams, and I believe in Johnson unlocking this offense fully in 2025.

6.03 – Jameson Williams

Just like with Hurts, I have drafted Jameson Williams in mock drafts over and over. Williams had over 1,000 receiving yards with just 58 receptions last season. Despite Ben Johnson’s departure, this is still one of the best offenses in all of football. Williams has improved in all three of his NFL seasons. Expect it to happen again in year four.

7.10 – Evan Engram

Evan Engram is my dark-horse candidate at the TE position to finish as the TE1 in 2025. He is my favorite TE to draft in mock drafts. Being on a Denver Broncos offense that has Sean Payton calling plays and Bo Nix under center has all the makings for a top-five finish this upcoming season.

8.03 – Rome Odunze

To be honest, if there is any wide receiver on the Chicago Bears who can overtake DJ Moore’s spot as the team’s WR1, it is Rome Odunze. Odunze had a solid rookie season, and as I mentioned a few times already, Ben Johnson is there now. Expect Odunze to crack over 1,000 receiving yards this season, and having him as your second FLEX is ideal with high upside.
