2025 Fantasy Football Playoffs: Weekly Winners – Week 17

Dak Prescott vs. WAS

Dak Prescott finished 21/30 (70%) for 244 passing yards and two touchdowns in Week 16 with 14 rushing yards for 19.16 Fantasy Points. Dak has finished five weeks with 319+ passing yards, five weeks with three or more passing touchdowns, and eight weeks with 20+ Fantasy Points. Prescott has been a Fantasy force this year.

Dak will face a Commanders defense in Week 17 that allows the third-most Fantasy PPG to quarterbacks and the seventh-most passing yards per game this season (241.7). While the Cowboys are eliminated from the playoffs, they will still come out firing in this won with hopes to end the year on a positive note in the last two weeks.

Jacoby Brissett vs. CIN

Week 16 was a down week for Jacoby Brissett, but before that, he finished with nine straight weeks of 18+ Fantasy Points, with four of those weeks being at 20+ Fantasy Points. Brissett has thrown 19 touchdowns through 10 games and has four weeks with over 300 passing yards, which shows a ton of upside through the air.

Brissett will face a Bengals defense that allows the fourth-most Fantasy PPG to quarterbacks and the fourth-most passing yards per game (246.8). Brissett has a healthy receiving core, will face a Joe Burrow-influenced game script, and has the right matchup to bounce back for Fantasy Football in Week 17.

Brock Purdy vs. CHI

Brock Purdy has finished with exactly 295 passing yards for two straight weeks in games he completed 76.7%/73.5% of his passes. Purdy threw three touchdowns in Week 15, then five (and an interception) in Week 16. His 44 rushing yards in Week 15 also showed his dual-threat potential. The 26.2 and then 30.9 Fantasy Points have truly lifted managers in the Fantasy Playoffs the last two weeks.

Purdy will face a Bears defense in Week 17 that allows the 10th-most Fantasy PPG to quarterbacks. Purdy has been on fire, so it makes sense to keep him going for a third-straight week in a game where both teams made the playoffs but can fight for the higher seeds. Listen, ball out Purdy, as long as my Bears take home the W.

Tyler Shough vs. TEN

Tyler Shough finished Week 16 32/49 for 308 yards and a touchdown, which were season-highs in completions and passing yards. The rookie has finished four straight weeks with 17+ Fantasy Points, and has hit that mark or higher in five of his last six games. Shough has three games over 270 passing yards, two games with a pair of passing touchdowns, and he rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns in Week 14. Upside flashes.

Shough will face a Titans defense in Week 17 that allows the eighth-most Fantasy PPG to quarterbacks and the 12th-most passing yards per game (222.9). Shough has been very consistent since becoming the Saints’ starter, so it feels almost like a no-brainer to plug him in when the matchup is positive.

Chase Brown vs. AZ

Chase Brown rushed 12 times for 66 yards (5.5 yards per carry) and a touchdown, and caught four balls for 43 yards with two receiving touchdowns in Week 16 for 32.9 Fantasy Points. High efficiency with dual-threat, touchdown upside. Brown has finished with 15+ Fantasy Points for eight straight weeks, with five of those being at 18+ Fantasy Points, showing extreme Fantasy consistency. Brown has finished with 99 rushing yards in three games, he has caught six or more passes four times, and has eight touchdowns on the year.

Brown will face a Cardinals defense in Week 17 that allows the second-most Fantasy PPG to running backs this season. For a guy who has been so consistent for Fantasy with dual-threat upside, he is a smash start in Championship week.

Ashton Jeanty vs. NYG

Ashton Jeanty rushed 24 times for 128 yards (5.3 yards per carry) and a touchdown in Week 16, with a 60-yard receiving touchdown for 31.8 Fantasy Points. This was Jeanty’s second game of 120+ rushing yards, second game with over 50 receiving yards, and second with over 30 Fantasy Points. Since the Week 8 BYE, Jeanty has also finished three games with six or more receptions.

Jeanty will face a Giants defense in Week 17 that allows the third-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the second-most rushing yards per game (150.9) this season. This is a great matchup for the rookie to stay hot, and 25 touches last week is a great sign for use in such a matchup.

Rhamondre Stevenson vs. NYJ

Rhamondre Stevenson has rushed for 50/51 yards the last two weeks, with under 10 rushing attempts in both games. Stevenson scored a rushing touchdown in Week 16, has had back-to-back games with 27 rushing yards. TreVeyon Henderson is in concussion protocol, so there is a chance we see Rhamondre in a workhorse role for the Patriots in Week 17.

Stevenson will face a Jets defense in Week 17 that allows the fourth-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the fifth-most rushing yards per game (133.7) this season. The game script against one of the worst teams in the NFL could highly favor plenty of work on the ground for Stevenson, with touchdown opportunities at hand here.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. vs. LV

Tyrone Tract Jr. has had a mixture of ups and downs across the last five weeks, but three of those games have resulted in 17.9 (Week 11), 16 (Week 12), and 24.7 (Week 15) Fantasy Points. In Weeks 11-12, Tracy finished with 139 and 130 scrimmage yards, respectively. He then scored both a rushing and receiving touchdown in Week 15. He has had signs of dual-threat upside with touchdown potential.

Tracy will face a Raiders defense in Week 17 that allows the ninth-most Fantasy PPG to running backs. This game lines up for another Tracy spike week, and one where we can see him both featured on the ground and through the air.

Drake London vs. LAR

Drake London returned to action in Week 16 after missing four straight games, catching just three balls for 27 yards. Many managers were frustrated with this performance, but the eight targets were a positive sign, and it was his first game back from injury. In the nine games before injury, London finished with 105-158 receiving yards in five of those games. London had six receiving touchdowns through those nine games and finished with 24+ Fantasy Points in four of those.

London will face a Rams defense in Week 17 that allows the eighth-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers. The game script will likely force Kirk Cousins to throw plenty, and Cousins has thrown 35+ passes in back-to-back games. London will again be leaned on in this matchup against another very stellar offense.

Chris Olave vs. TEN

Chris Olave took Fantasy managers to the next round last week, catching 10 of his 16 targets for 148 yards and two touchdowns for 36.8 Fantasy Points. This comes after a game in which Olave caught six of his nine targets for 85 yards and a touchdown for 20.5 Fantasy Points. Olave has been red-hot in the opening two rounds of the Fantasy Football playoffs, but ranks as the WR6 overall for the season.

Olave will face a Titans defense in Week 17 that allows the 11th-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and the 12th-most passing yards per game this season. The Saints leaned on Taysom Hill last week, since they have had so many running back injuries, so the usage of Olave last week could indicate a very high emphasis on the team’s WR1 yet again in this matchup.

Jakobi Meyers vs. IND

Parker Washington was the star for the Jaguars in Week 16, but positive for Jakobi Meyers was a respectable eight targets. Since Jakobi’s Jaguars debut in Week 10, he has earned six targets in six of those seven games, produced over 70 yards twice, scored three touchdowns, and finished with 14+ Fantasy Points three times. Meyers received an extension from the Jaguars recently, which shows they believe in his role on this team.

Meyers will face a Colts defense in Week 17 that allows the fourth-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and the second-most passing yards per game. In Week 14 against the Colts, Meyers did not put up great yardage, but he did earn 10 targets and scored a touchdown. Week 17 feels like a solid bounce-back game to FLEX Meyers.

Jauan Jennings vs. CHI

Jauan Jennings caught all six targets in Week 16 for 71 yards and a touchdown for 18.1 Fantasy Points. Jennings scored 18.7 in the game prior due to his pair of receiving touchdowns. Across the last seven games, Jennings has scored seven total touchdowns. George Kittle is currently dealing with an ankle injury, and Ricky Pearsall has struggled to stay on the field, so Jennings’ importance to this 49ers team is high.

Jennings will face a Bears defense in Week 17 that allows the third-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers this season. Brock Purdy has been on fire the last two weeks, and although the 49ers and Bears are locked in for the playoffs, they both would love to fight for a higher seed. Jennings has a nice opportunity to have a third week in a row with solid Fantasy production.

Wan’Dale Robinson vs. LV

Wan’Dale Robinson caught just three of his six targets in Week 16, but the further context would be that Jaxson Dart completed just seven of his 13 passing attempts. So nearly 50% of Dart’s passing attempts went to Robinson, in a game where passing was near non-existent. Robinson has finished six games with double-digit targets, eight games with six or more catches, two games with over 140 receiving yards, and three games with 20+ Fantasy Points this season.

Robinson will face a Raiders defense in Week 17 that allows the 10th-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers this season. Robinson has been the focal point this season through the air with Malik Nabers on IR, so in this specific matchup, I expect him to bounce back to FLEX usage for Fantasy Football.

Harold Fannin Jr. vs. PIT

Harold Fannin Jr. caught four of his six targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Week 16 and also rushed for a touchdown, which was 19.5 Fantasy Points. In the game prior, the rookie caught seven of his 14 targets for 48 yards. In Week 14, Fannin caught eight of his 11 targets for 114 yards and a touchdown for 25.4 Fantasy Points. And in Week 13, he caught a touchdown. Fannin Jr. has been a vital piece of the Browns’ offense, and Shadeuer Sanders has been feeding this man.

Fannin will face a Steelers defense in Week 17 that allows the third-most Fantasy PPG to tight ends and the third-most passing yards per game this season. With the role Fannin is playing and the Fantasy production that has followed, he is a strong start for Fantasy Football in Week 17.
