It’s once again time to hash out those tough start and sit decisions for your fantasy football lineups! Even with some tough choices ahead, some things are becoming clear. Juwan Johnson is a TE1 for the rest of the season. He should be a lineup lock moving forward, except in Week 4. He finished as the TE11 and has finished as a TE1 in all three games. Tucker Kraft was a fantastic choice for me to sit. He finished as the TE26. He had a monster game in Week 2, but the Cleveland Browns’ defense is too good, and he is nursing a knee injury.
Here are my starts and sits for Week 4.

Week 4 Wide Receiver and Tight Ends Starts and Sits
Wide Receiver Starts
Matthew Golden @ Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys are allowing the most PPG to WRs through three weeks. They gave up big plays to Rome Odunze and Luther Burden in Week 3. Now, it is time for Matthew Golden to shine. He had 10 fantasy points against the Browns. It is not much, but it was his best game in his young career. With Jayden Reed on the IR, Golden is in line for a prime opportunity to expose the horrific Cowboys’ secondary.
Tetaiora McMillan @ New England Patriots
Tetaiora McMillan had just 7.8 fantasy points in Week 3. Part of it was because the Carolina Panthers blew out the Atlanta Falcons, 30-0. This week, McMillan faces the New England Patriots, who are allowing 38 PPG to WRs. The big breakout game is coming for McMillan, and I feel like it will happen in Week 4. Start him with confidence in Week 4.
Wide Receiver Sits
Marvin Harrison Jr. vs. Seattle Seahawks
It’s either a coaching thing or a player thing. Marvin Harrison Jr does not look like the player he was at Ohio State. He is the WR43 through three games. He faces the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night. They are allowing the second-fewest PPG to the position. Also, they have given up just 296 yards in three games to receivers. Harrison is looking like a bust as every game passes. Leave him on your bench in Week 4.
DK Metcalf vs. Minnesota Vikings
Right now, DK Metcalf is having his worst season from a PPG perspective since his rookie season. He is the WR33, 135 yards, and has just ten receptions through three games. To make matters worse, he faces the team that is allowing the fewest PPG to receivers, the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings’ secondary is elite, and Metcalf cannot be trusted unless he scores a touchdown. It is too risky to rely on someone who is TD dependent.
Tight End Starts
TJ Hockenson vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
TJ Hockenson had two bad games to start 2025, but then had 15.9 fantasy points and a touchdown in Week 3. Now, facing the Steelers, I believe he will have another big game. The Steelers are allowing the second-most PPG to the position. You drafted Hockenson to be your TE1, so have patience and let him build off a great Week 3 performance.
Harold Fannin @ Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions got tormented by Mark Andrews in Week 3. The Cleveland Browns’ young TE, Harold Fannin, will do the same. He has not lived up to his Week 1 game, where he finished as the TE6, but with what Andrews did, I think Fannin can have another TE1 week. Quinshon Judkins’ opening up the run game will leave room for the passing game to work with Fannin at the head of that.

Tight End Sits
Juwan Johnson @ Buffalo Bills
I started this edition of starts and sits by saying that Juwan Johnson is a weekly lineup lock, and I meant it… except for this week. That is because he is playing the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are allowing ONLY 4.73 PPG to the position and JUST 32 yards in three games. Despite the New Orleans Saints playing from behind, those numbers are too scary to have someone facing that in your lineup.
Tucker Kraft @ Dallas Cowboys
Tucker Kraft is a top-five TE in the NFL, but he is nursing a knee injury. He was held to 29 yards and three receptions in Week 3. The Dallas Cowboys are average when it comes to defending TEs, but I think this game is a game for the Green Bay Packers’ wide receivers. The Cowboys’ secondary got embarrassed by the Chicago Bears’ receiver, and I think it will happen again this week.
