It’s that time again; time to look at those tough start and sit decisions at quarterback and running back. Last week, we only hit at a 50% rate for quarterbacks. Daniel Jones was listed as a sit and finished as the QB4. He is having the best season of his NFL career. Justin Fields was a sit, too. He finished as the QB30. He and the New York Jets are terrible. Mac Jones and Bryce Young were the QBs I said to start. Jones was disappointing, but Young finished as the QB12.
I also hit at a 50% rate for running backs. Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Hassan Haskins were awful. The RBs I had as sits were Chase Brown and Jaylen Warren. Brown finished as the RB22, and Warren finished as the RB29.

Quarterbacks and Running Backs Starts and Sits
Quarterback Starts
Spencer Rattler @ Chicago Bears
One thing about the New Orleans Saints is that they are a horrible football team. Spencer Rattler has finished as a QB1 just once this season. It changes in Week 7. He faces the Chicago Bears. The Bears are a bottom-six team in terms of fantasy PPG allowed to QBs at 19.86.
Justin Fields vs. Carolina Panthers
Surprisingly, Justin Fields is the QB12 on a PPG basis. Also, he has finished as a QB1 in three of the five games he has played in. Now, he faces the Carolian Panthers. The Panthers have been good against the QBs, but the New York Jets have not. Overall, I expect a lot of points in this game. Fields will use his legs and produce another QB1 week.
Quarterback Sits
Kyler Murray vs. Green Bay Packers
First, Kyler Murray has not finished as a QB1 this season. He was once elite and has fallen off. Now, he faces the Green Bay Packers in Week 7. The Packers are average in terms of fantasy PPG allowed to QBs, but you cannot trust Murray. Pivot to another option like Bryce Young.
Sam Darnold vs. Houston Texans
Sam Darnold is amazing, but he faces the Houston Texans in Week 7. The Texans have not allowed 1,000 passing yards total thus far. Also, the Texans have given up just three passing touchdowns to opposing QBs and allow less than ten fantasy PPG to the position. All in all, despite Darnold being great this season, this matchup will be too tough for him.
Running Back Starts
Jacory Croskey-Merritt @ Dallas Cowboys
Jacory Croskey-Merritt has not done much since his breakout game, but he faces the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7. Rico Dowdle exploded for over 30 fantasy points against the Cowboys in Week 6. This is the time for JCM to make up for the lackluster performance he had in Week 6.
Rhamondre Stevenson @ Tennessee Titans
Rhamondre Stevenson has a chance to have his second RB1 finish of the season in Week 7. The last time he did was in Week 2. Now, he faces the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are allowing 27.98 fantasy PPG to opposing RBs. That is the fourth most through six weeks of football. The entire New England Patriots backfield will be feasting this weekend.

Running Back Sits
Travis Etienne vs. Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams are allowing just 16.87 fantasy PPG to opposing RBs. That is the third fewest this season. For the Jacksonville Jaguars to win in Week 7, it will be done through the air. The Rams’ front seven is too lethal to start Etienne. I believe Etienne will finish outside the top 24 RBs in Week 7.
Rachaad White @ Detroit Lions
Rachaad White has filled in nicely for the injured Bucky Irving. White has had consecutive RB1 finishes, but there is an issue. He faces the Detroit Lions in Week 7. The Lions have one of the best defensive lines in football. They are allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy PPG to the position. Yes, White has been good, but leave him on your bench this week.
