2025 Fantasy Football: Weekly Winners – Week 7

Caleb Williams vs. NO

Caleb Williams threw for 252 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 following the Week 5 BYE, and also rushed for a touchdown, which meant 19.9 Fantasy Points. A Rome Odunze touchdown was taken away, so this could have been an even bigger day. This was Williams’ second game with 250+ passing yards, second game with a rushing touchdown, and third game with over 19 Fantasy Points, with two of those being over 24 Fantasy Points.

Up Next for the Bears is a Saints defense that allows the fifth-most Fantasy PPG to quarterbacks this season. I expect Caleb to have yet another solid Fantasy week.

Dak Prescott vs WSH

Dak Prescott has been on Fantasy Football fire for three straight weeks, even without CeeDee Lamb present. During this span, Dak has finished with 31, 28.3, and 22.3 Fantasy Points, with a lot of that being tied to him tossing three, four, and three touchdowns. Since Week 2, Dak is averaging a solid 285.8 passing yards at a 72.74% completion rate. Dallas’ defense is awful, so there is always a need for their offense to sling it.

Up next for Dak is a Commanders defense allowing the ninth-most Fantasy PPG to quarterbacks and the 10th-most passing yards per game (235.2) this season. The hot streak should continue for Prescott.

Justin Fields vs. CAR

Everyone and their mother, cousin, neighbor, boss, etc, talked about how bad Justin Fields and the Jets were overseas last Sunday. But in the three full games Fields played prior, he received minimal love. Funny how that works out. 283 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and 26 rushing yards for 25.9 Fantasy Points in Week 5. 226 passing yards, a passing touchdown, 81 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown in Week 4 for 27.1 Fantasy Points. Then 218 passing yards, a passing touchdown, 48 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns in Week 1 for 29.5 Fantasy Points.

Fields will not have Garrett Wilson due to injury, which is, of course, a major blow. The dual-threat upside has been very evident this season, as it has been for Fantasy Football since Fields has been in the NFL. I still would be rolling Fields out this week, and I expect him to utilize his legs even more in this matchup against Carolina.

Joe Flacco vs. PIT

Joe Flacco has played five games this season, and his best Fantasy week came just last week in his Bengals debut. Flacco threw 29/45 (64.4%) for 219 passing yards and two passing touchdowns for 18.8 Fantasy Points. The pivot from the weapons in Cleveland to the duo of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins is a world of difference.

Flacco will face a Steelers defense in Week 7 that ranks seventh in Fantasy PPG allowed to quarterbacks and sixth in passing yards per game allowed (245) so far this season. Flacco is a streaming option for Thursday Night Football, if you need one.

Quinshon Judkins vs. MIA

It was an ugly Week 6 for Quinshon Judkins, who had a season-low in usage and also played an even snap percentage (40%) to Jerome Ford. Week 7 is the bounce-back. Judkins rushed for 61, 94, 82, and 110 yards in Weeks 1-6, with two rushing touchdowns sprinkled in. Two of those weeks meant scores of 16.5 and 21.5 Fantasy Points. Prior to Week 6, Judkins also showed signs of being implemented as a workhorse with 25 then 24 touches.

The Browns will face a Dolphins defense in Week 7 who are allowing the fourth-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and also the most rushing yards per game (168.5). To even further emphasize the matchup, the Dolphins allow 12.1 more rushing yards per game than any team in the NFL this year. The rookie should be back in lineups.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt vs. DAL

In Week 5, Jacory “Bill” Croskey-Merritt finished with season-highs in rushing attempts (14), rushing yards (111), rushing touchdowns (two), receiving yards (39), and Fantasy Points (27.0). The next week, Bill finished with a new season-high in rushing attempts with 17 for 61 yards, but had an underwhelming day against the Bears, where he lost a fumble on a poor handoff from Jayden Daniels.

Week 7 should be the perfect bounce-back opportunity, against a Cowboys defense allowing the fifth-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the fourth-most rushing yards per game (142.2). The volume has really taken a step forward for Bill, so a plus matchup should mean another plus Fantasy day.

Jordan Mason vs. PHI

After Jordan Mason rushed 16 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns for 23.6 Fantasy Points back in Week 3, he has been just OK with scores of 10.2 and 12.6 points to follow. The positive of his last three games is the volume, with 16, then 19, then 16 touches. Aaron Jones remains out, so Mason’s volume should continue.

I watched rookie Cam Skattebo absolutely light up the Eagles last week with 98 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. Mason gets this team next. The Eagles allow the eighth-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the seventh-most rushing yards per game (134.3) so far this season as a whole. Time for another big Mason day.

JK Dobbins vs. NYG

A season-low in rushing yards with 40 was discouraging for JK Dobbins last week, but the upcoming schedule is set up nicely for him to get right back on track. Prior to Week 6, Dobbins finished four straight games with over 75 rushing yards and scored in four of his five games played. This meant four games of 14+ Fantasy Points, and three weeks over 15 Fantasy Points.

Up next for the Broncos is a Giants defense that allows the 10th-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the 11th-most rushing yards per game (128.8). Dobbins continues to edge RJ Harvey in snaps and touches, and has had too many solid weeks to be worried after one down game. Bounce-back.

Jaylen Warren vs. CIN

Jaylen Warren missed Week 4 before the BYE, and watched Kenneth Gainwell ball out. Upon Warren’s return in Week 6, Warren out-rushed Gainwell 11 to six, but Gainwell finished with six catches to Warren’s two. Committee touches, but Warren played 53% compared to Gainwell’s 34% of the snaps. Warren opened up the first three weeks with 13.9, 17.4, and 13.1 Fantasy Points prior to missing time.

The Steelers will face the Bengals on Thursday, who allow the most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the fifth-most rushing yards per game (135.7) this season. While Gainwell may limit Warren’s ceiling, the matchup is too nice to pass on and sets Warren up well to have a solid Fantasy week.

Davante Adams vs. JAX

Puka Nacua suffered an ankle injury in Week 6 and still is not practicing as of Wednesday. My guess is that Puka is out in Week 7, and this would further emphasize the importance of Davante Adams. Adams has scored three touchdowns so far this season, has finished two games with 106 (Week 2) / 88 (Week 5) receiving yards, and has scored over 14.5 Fantasy Points three times. Even more encouraging is the 20 targets accumulated across the last two games, and we know there is a ton of upside through the air attached to Matthew Stafford this year.

Adams enters Week 7 as the likely Rams WR1 against a Jaguars defense that allows the eighth-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and the third-most passing yards per game (265.3) this season. Adams has to be in lineups this week.

Deebo Samuel vs. DAL

I called for Deebo Samuel to have a good day last week, but I am happy he did not do much in it, as it was against my Bears. The one time I was rooting for a miss in my content. Deebo did have a heel issue heading into Monday Night Football, which could have contributed. Prior to Week 5, Deebo has finished two weeks with double-digit targets, three weeks ranging from 72-96 receiving yards, rushed for 18+ yards twice, scored four total touchdowns on the year, finished with 17+  Fantasy Points four times, and 20+ Fantasy Points three times. After a down 2024, Deebo has shown tons of life in Washington, who depend on him even more without Terry McLaurin.

Deebo will face a Cowboys defense in Week 6 that are allowing the most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and also the most passing yards per game (269.5). The Dallas offense should create a positive game script through the air against their struggling defense. Deebo is set up perfectly to have another solid week.

Ladd McConkey vs. IND

Ladd McConkey has been trending up the last two weeks for Fantasy Football. Seven targeted and a touchdown were nice signs in Week 5, then in Week 6, he had his best game of the season. Ladd finished with seven catches on nine targets for 100 receiving yards and a touchdown for 23 Fantasy Points. Yes, this production came with Quentin Johnston out with a hamstring injury, but let’s not act like we did not see this sort of production out of Ladd last year as a rookie. Even if QJ returns in Week 7, I still like Justin Herbert quick-firing to Ladd with that OL banged up.

The Chargers will face a Colts defense in Week 7 that has allowed the fifth-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and the 11th-most passing yards per game (232.8) so far this season. This Colts team is 5-1, on top of that, which could call for plenty of Herbert passing attempts, who has ranged from 38-47 attempts in three of his last four games.

Rashee Rice vs. LV

Rashee Rice returns from suspension in Week 7, with reports indicating that he should have a heavy workload instantly. In the three games Rice played last season prior to injury, he was averaging 9.67 targets, 8.0 receptions, 96 receiving yards, 0.67 receiving touchdowns, and 21.63 Fantasy Points. While we have seen flashes of all of Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown, and Tyquan Thornton, it is Rice who is the best target earner in this offense, with a clear, strong connection to Patrick Mahomes.

Rice will open up 2025 against a Raiders defense that is allowing the sixth-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers. After missing so much time last year due to injury, and this year due to suspension, I would not be surprised if Rice instantly earned 10 targets as a “welcome back” from Mahomes.

Chris Olave vs. CHI

Chris Olave currently ranks second for the position in targets through six games with 39. Olave has been targeted 21 times across the last two weeks, and is coming off of a season-high 98 receiving yards, which meant a season-high 15.8 Fantasy Points. While the Fantasy production has not necessarily matched the heavy volume, heavy volume paired with a solid talent can mean future upside. Olave is trending up.

The Bears are up next for the Saints, who are allowing the seventh-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers so far this season. This Bears offense, on the other hand, ranks top-10 in points produced this season, which could mean plenty of passing attempts for Spencer Rattler, who ranks eighth in the category this season. So here is to Chris Olave going off for Fantasy, but my Bears grabbing another W.

Romeo Doubs vs. AZ

Romeo Doubs has been targeted eight then nine times, from Jordan Love across his last two games played. In Week 4, he scored three touchdowns on those eight targets. Doubs has finished with 55+ receiving yards in both of these games. Doubs has also scored four total touchdowns this season. If you are looking for a FLEX play, Doubs checks some boxes for just that.

While the Cardinals do not allow great Fantasy PPG to wide receivers, they do allow the fifth-most passing yards per game at 246 this season. So if Jordan Love is set up to have a solid day through the air, I am grabbing his receiver, who has been targeted 17 times in the last two games, which is at least six more than any other Packer during that span.

Wan’Dale Robinson vs. DEN

Wan’Dale Robinson was a top-10 targeted player in 2024, but his upside was so minimal with that volume. This has changed in 2025. Wan’Dale finished with 142 receiving yards and a touchdown back in Week 2, and then 84 yards and a touchdown just last week. With Malik Nabers out for the season, Robinson is the most reliable target in this offense attached to a rookie quarterback in Jaxson Dart, who looks like a stud playmaker so far.

People see Denver has a matchup, and will quickly fade the opposing wide receivers. Patrick Surtain’s name is often tossed around as a shutdown corner, which he most definitely is, but it is doubtful he is going to be matched up with Wan’Dale, who operates in the slot. While people will fade Robinson this week, I actually think he is going to be looked at often as a reliable outlet for Dart in a rough matchup for outside wide receivers. Volume is king, and Robinson is doing bigger things with his volume this year.

Tre Tucker vs. KC

Tre Tucker has displayed a ton of receiving upside this season attached to Geno Smith. Tucker has finished weeks with 27, 18.1, 15.5, and 14 yards per catch this year. Tucker had that massive 145-yard day back in Week 3 with three touchdowns for 40.9 Fantasy Points. Another positive sign is Tucker averaging six targets across the last five games, with two games above that mark. We all expected Jakobi Meyers to have a more productive season, but that has not been the case with Geno so far. Brock Bowers is banged up as well, which puts demand on other receivers.

The Raiders will face Kansas City in Week 7, which means plenty of throwing on the Raiders end. If I am taking shots on upside for my FLEX position, I would take one on Tucker.

Trey McBride vs. GB

Trey McBride ironically had his best game of the season last week with Jacoby Brissett as the starting quarterback with Kyler Murray out. McBride caught eight (season-high) of his 11 targets for 72 receiving yards and a touchdown, which was 21.2 Fantasy Points (season-high). This was the second game this season that McBride was targeted 11 times, the second time he produced over 70 receiving yards, and the second touchdown for him this year. Marvin Harrison Jr. suffered a concussion last week, which will mean emphasizing McBride’s importance even more in Week 7, regardless of the matchup.

The Cardinals will face a Packers defense in Week 7 who have been tough on opponents, but also has been friendly to tight ends at the same time. Green Bay currently allows the fourth-most Fantasy PPG to tight ends. Of course, McBride is in your lineups, but this week calls for another big game due to this being a huge game, the emphasis on his role, and the matchup for his position.

Harold Fannin Jr. vs MIA

Rookie Harold Fannin Jr. has flashed this season, with three weeks of 11+ Fantasy Points. Fannin opened up the season catching seven of his nine targets for 63 yards. Fannin would then produce 48 yards in Week 2, score a touchdown in Week 5, and have his best performance to date just last week. In Week 6, Fannin caught seven of his 10 targets for 81 receiving yards, which was 15.1 Fantasy Points. Yes, David Njoku got banged up in this one, but that does not mean we should take anything away from College Football’s most productive pass-catcher last year.

David Njoku is not practicing as of Wednesday, which could mean a role bump even further for Fannin Jr. The Browns also face the Dolphins this week, who allow the sixth-most Fantasy PPG to tight ends, which sets the rookie up nicely to have yet another solid week for Fantasy Football.

Mason Taylor vs. CAR

The entire Jets offense looked horrible overseas in Week 6, so there is nothing positive to note there for rookie Mason Taylor, let alone anyone on the offense. In Week 4, Taylor caught five of his seven targets for 65 yards, which was 11.5 Fantasy Points. Then in Week 5, Taylor’s volume was amazing with 12 targets, which he caught nine of for 67 yards. That week was a solid 17.7 Fantasy Points. Garrett Wilson is now set to miss time, and the Jets’ receiving options are extremely weak, so the emphasis on the rookie from Justin Fields will be even higher. Do not forget the connection Justin Fields had back in Chicago with Cole Kmet.

The Jets get the Panthers in Week 7, who allow the second-most Fantasy PPG to tight ends. I would not be shocked if Taylor again earns double-digit targets in this matchup, especially if he has to operate as Fields’ primary target. This matchup and the context for the Jets make Taylor a solid stream for Fantasy Football in Week 7.

Cade Otton vs. DET

The Buccaneers have been banged up. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have missed time, and now Emeka Egbuka is set to miss some. There is a chance Evans plays this week, but at what percentage, we do not know. You know who stepped up for Baker Mayfield last year when the team had injuries to pass-catchers? Cade Otton. You know who can do the same in Week 7? Cade Otton. Otton has trended up from four to five to six targets the last three weeks, catching three, then four, then five balls for nine, then 81, then 51 yards. Otton has scored double-digit Fantasy Points in each of his last two outings.

The game script for the Buccaneers vs. the Lions will be through the air. The Lions have generated the second-most points per game this season, which means Baker and crew will need to keep up with them. Otton is another viable streamer this week for Fantasy Football.
