Just go out and catch the ball. Unfortunately, it is not simple for rookie wide receivers. There is a lot to learn and chemistry to be developed with your quarterback. As we look towards the future in dynasty leagues, that has to be taken into account. While we prepare for the 2026 fantasy football season, let’s dig into our dynasty wide receiver rankings.

What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax last season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune this season.

Dynasty Football Wide Receiver Notes

Adonai Mitchell, New York Jets

The state of quarterback play for the Jets last season was so bad that Geno Smith is looked at as a savior and true upgrade. No one has the Jets pegged to make the playoffs, but things should be better in New York this season. From that perspective, a rising tide lifts all boats, so it’s time to see what Mitchell is capable of.

Entering his fourth NFL season, the talented Mitchell is still just 23-years old. That means there is enough time for him to flash the talent and upside he showed to be a second-round draft choice in 2024. Speed and athleticism have never been a problem for Mitchell, but consistency and catching the ball is a different story.

Yes, the Jets did draft Omar Cooper, but there still should be plenty of room in the Jets offense, alongside Garrett Wilson, for Mitchell. He’s a talented downfield threat who has already shown chemistry with Smith, so we are off to a good start. Now, let’s work on that consistency. If he finds it, Mitchell could be a nice big play threat.

KC Concepcion, Cleveland Browns

Entering April’s draft, the Browns’ wide receiver room was pretty barren after Jerry Jeudy. It made sense then that Cleveland selected Concepcion in the first round. Yes, we know that the Browns are simply a mess, but perhaps new coach Todd Monken can make something work. Additionally, Deshaun Watson was good a few years ago, and now he’s healthy and motivated. At the very least, Concepcion has opportunity and talent.

In 2023, Concepcion had 839 yards and 10 touchdowns and followed that up with 919 yards and nine touchdowns last season. Known for his speed and athleticism, Concepcion is also 6-foot and close to 200 pounds, so it’s not like he’s a tiny, one-dimensional receiver. In his first preseason game, Concepcion got off to a nice start with three catches for 27 yards and a 14-yard touchdown run. The regular season is a different story, but Concepcion has the talent to make things happen. However, he is still dependent on Watson.

De’Zhaun Stribling, San Francisco 49ers

Who knows where Brandon Aiyuk is? Ricky Pearsall is out for the season, and it’s unclear what Deebo Samuel has to offer after being a late signing. We know how good Mike Evans is, but can we count on him to truly stay healthy all season? Even if he does, the 49ers still need more help from their receiver room.

And that brings us to Stribling. He was a clear target for the 49ers, who traded up for him in the draft after a strong college career. A 4.36 40-yard dash time is also bound to attract attention, and now he has a fair amount of opportunity. Again, the 49ers also have other weapons, and we can’t forget about Christian Kirk and Demarcus Robinson, but Stribling is a big play threat. The fact that he caught 11 passes for 109 yards in his first two preseason games doesn’t help with any of the buzz. Don’t overpay for now, but there’s also something real here.
