2026 Fantasy Football: Week 2 bold predictions

Week 1 is officially in the rearview, which means the panic is setting in for some and the overreactions are going crazy for everyone else. If your roster stumbled out of the gate, Week 2 is where you fix that!

Bold Predictions for NFL Week 2

1. Dak Prescott Finishes as a Top-3 Fantasy QB

The Cowboys are coming off a frustrating Week 1 divisional loss, and historically, Dak Prescott and this offense respond in a major way when they return home.

Dallas hosts the Washington Commanders in their home opener. After a somewhat sluggish start to the year, head coach Brian Schottenheimer and the Cowboys’ coaching staff are going to dial up an aggressive game plan to get the passing attack going early.

Washington’s secondary is vulnerable, and Dak is going to pepper CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens with targets all game long. I expect a massive multi-touchdown, high-yardage bounce-back performance that launches Prescott right into the overall top-3 fantasy quarterback on the week.

2. Christian Watson Gets 25+ Fantasy Points AGAIN

If you had Christian Watson in your lineup in Week 1, you’re already riding high—now it’s time to do it a second week in a row.

The Packers head out on the road to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets. Green Bay will want to establish a fast-paced tempo to neutralize the Jets’ pass rush, which means dialing up deep shots and manufactured touches for Watson in space.

It takes a truly elite ceiling to hit 25+ fantasy points in back-to-back weeks, but Watson’s unique blend of red-zone size and vertical speed makes him a home run hitter. If he breaks loose for a couple of long scores and racks up over 100 yards, he’ll single-handedly win fantasy matchups for the second straight week and start looking like the best value in drafts.

3. Juwan Johnson Grabs 2 Touchdowns

If you need a tight end sleeper to swing your matchup, look no further than Juwan Johnson.

The Saints’ offense came out airing it out in Week 1, leading the entire NFL with a whopping 56 pass attempts. Johnson immediately benefited from that pass-heavy volume, turning 7 targets into 54 yards and a score. Now, New Orleans travels to Baltimore to face a Ravens defense that traditionally locks down perimeter wideouts, which will force quarterbacks to keep attacking the middle of the field a lot more.

When the field shrinks in the red zone, Johnson’s blend of size and athleticism makes him an ideal target in an offense that refuses to stop throwing. He’s already shown his nose for the end zone, and cashing in twice against Baltimore behind this pass-happy volume is the exact kind of prediction that wins fantasy weeks.
