2026 Fantasy Football: Week 4 Bold Predictions

Predicting touchdowns is one of the hardest things to do, but locking in players with the right combination of high-leverage usage and a great matchup makes a HUGE difference.

Here are three bold predictions for Week 4, focusing on players who I believe will find the end zone.

Bold Predictions for NFL Week 4

1. Tetairoa McMillan to Score

Tetairoa McMillan is off to a good start in his sophomore campaign with the Panthers, hauling in 12 catches for 193 yards through the first three games, but he is still looking for his first touchdown of the season.

Week 4 presents the absolute ideal get-right spot as Carolina squares off against a questionable Detroit Lions defense. Detroit has struggled immensely to stop opposing passing attacks, ranking near the bottom of the league while allowing a staggering 458 total yards per game and giving up 979 passing yards already. Standing at a massive 6-foot-4, McMillan is built to exploit a secondary that is getting shredded in coverage. Expect Carolina to use his size in high-leverage scoring situations to get McMillan is first score of the year.

2. Tyler Shough to Record a Rushing Touchdown

New Orleans quarterback Tyler Shough has opened his second NFL season on a tear, racking up 917 passing yards and 8 passing touchdowns through his first three starts. But what makes him an incredible bet to find the end zone with his legs this week comes down to his specific NFC South matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Atlanta’s defense has historically struggled to contain mobile quarterbacks who can extend plays, often getting hurt on perimeter scrambles and designed red-zone keepers when coverage downfield locks down. Shough is coming off a game where he showed explosive open-field speed. Including a massive 36-yard run against the Raiders and already has 14 rushing attempts on the season. Standing 6-foot-5, he presents a unique challenge for linebackers near the goal line. With New Orleans continually utilizing his size on designed short-yardage keepers and red-zone goal-line packages, this specific divisional matchup against Atlanta sets up perfectly for Shough to tuck it and cross the pylon this week for his second rushing touchdown of the season.

3. Braelon Allen to score

Breece Hall suffered a thigh injury late in the Jets’ matchup against the Lions, and with Hall expected to miss time, Braelon Allen steps into a massive volume spike.

Standing at a bruising 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, Allen is built to handle heavy early-down work and short-yardage situations. He has already shown efficiency when called upon, and a vacant backfield hands him the keys to the goal-line role. Beyond the injury context, the Jets will want to control the game script on the ground going up against the Chicago Bears, whose run defense is nothing to be afraid of so far this year.

Final Thoughts

Three players. Three trips to the end zone.

  • Tetairoa McMillan — To score against a leaky Detroit secondary
  • Tyler Shough — To find the end zone on a short-yardage carry
  • Braelon Allen — To score behind a massive workload in relief of Breece Hall
