2026 Fantasy Football: Week 6 D/ST Streamers

The Cowboys awful defense was just too bad to stop Jalon Daniels and the Buccaneers. The Saints and Browns showed up, though, and finished as top-10 D/STs last week despite being rostered in under 50% of Fantrax leagues. With even more byes this week, options are very thin. There are still a few low-rostered D/STs worth taking a shot on.

Week 6 D/ST Streamers

All D/STs are rostered in under 50% of Fantrax leagues

Last week’s stashes: Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs

New York Jets (at New England Patriots)

Fantrax Rostership: 34% (Other Platforms: )

Drake Maye is looking like his old self. That could be disastrous for the Jets, but there is some reason for optimism. Drake Maye struggled the first few weeks of the season. That was against the Seahawks, Steelers, and Jaguars. The Seahawks and Jaguars rank top-6 in pass defense DVOA, while the Steelers are 13th overall in defensive DVOA. Maye averaged 195 passing yards in those games while throwing just a single TD to six interceptions. Over the last two weeks, Maye thrashed the Bills and Raiders, who rank bottom-8 against the pass. Could this just be good timing or taking advantage of a matchup? Odds are it’s a bit of both.

Maye was an MVP finalist last season after combining for over 4,800 yards of offense and 35 TDs. He also lost his top WR, A.J. Brown, in the first game of the season. Paired with the difficult matchups, that’s a recipe for disaster. The Patriots took their time to get accustomed to their situation and got some well-timed matchups. This week against the Jets will be a bigger test than in years prior. Gang Green ranks 11th against the pass in DVOA. The Jets defense has produced six turnovers, including their first interception since January 2025. They have also sacked opposing QBs 17 times, tied for the third most in the league. Second overall pick David Bailey is averaging a sack per game to start his career.

The Jets D/ST ranks eighth in fantasy points scored so far and has produced double-digit fantasy points in three of five games. Drake Maye is looking more like a threat and could overcome a tough Jets defense, but there is some value here. If you’re in a pinch, the Jets D/ST looks good and could stifle young Drake Maye. It may be enough to vault them into fantasy relevancy in Week 6.

Indianapolis Colts (vs. Tennessee Titans)

Fantrax Rostership: 26% (Other Platforms: )

The Colts were demolished by Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers last week. Ranking 24th in defensive DVOA, there isn’t a lot to love about this defense. However, the matchup is right here. The Titans allow the third most fantasy points to D/STs this season. Cam Ward has thrown for 200 yards in just one game this season, and he has thrown an interception in three consecutive games. Even against below-average defenses like the Giants and Eagles, Ward failed to get much going. The Colts are not phenomenal on defense but you can stream them at D/ST in Week 6.

Carolina Panthers (at Philadelphia Eagles)

Fantrax Rostership: 21% (Other Platforms: )

Although the Carolina Panthers D/ST have failed to do much outside of Week 2, they have an interesting matchup this week. The Philadelphia Eagles have dealt with a myriad of injuries and even a retirement. The offensive line is gashed, and Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith have been dealing with injuries. They could both return in Week 6, but the struggles could continue. Jalen Hurts has been sacked 13 times and has thrown three interceptions. The Eagles offense ranks 26th in DVOA and allows the 13th most fantasy points to D/STs. This play could blow up in your face, but it’s the best matchup amongst the bottom of the barrel D/STs.

D/STs to Stash

Surprisingly, every single streamer this week is also worth stashing. The New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, and Carolina Panthers all have good matchups next week. Even if you don’t plan on starting one of them, you may want to hold onto them for the following week.

New York Jets

The New York Jets face off against the Miami Dolphins next week. While the Dolphins do look scrappy and they’re coming off a bye, they still allow the fourth most fantasy points to D/STs. Stash the Jets D/ST and set yourself up with a good matchup next week.

Indianapolis Colts

While their defense is incredible, the Minnesota Vikings have been awful on offense. Arguably their best game of the season was against a terrible Saints defense. Even in that game, the Saints finished as the D/ST8 on the week. Kyler Murray is struggling. Things may change after their bye week, but odds are that the Vikings are still a defense-focused team that doesn’t contribute much on offense. That’s a team you can stream a defense against. The Colts are worth streaming this week and holding onto for next week.

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers get to face off against Jalon Daniels and the Buccaneers next week. Although they beat up on a terrible Cowboys defense last week, the Buccaneers are still allowing the most fantasy points to D/STs. Whether it’s Jalon Daniels or Baker Mayfield at QB, there will be fantasy points available. Mayfield was sacked 13 times and threw two interceptions in his three games. Daniels was sacked four times and threw three interceptions in his two starts. Yardage and scoring were lacking in most of Tampa Bay’s contests, and that should continue against the Panthers.
