2026 NFL DFS: Monday Night Football Plays

How lucky are we with a divisional matchup to close out Week 7 of the NFL season? Hold that thought, though. Maybe this is a question best asked following the game. We thought we were getting Jalen Hurts against Dak Prescott, but instead it will be Tanner McKee under center. While the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line is also a mess, McKee will also be without Devonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks. The Dallas Cowboys should be relatively healthy in what should at least be an emotional game. With an over/under of just 43.5 points, I’m not sure how much offense will be on display, though. With the Cowboys favored by 4.5 points on the road, it should at least be close.

MNF Notes

Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles

The biggest concern here is if Barkley reinjures his hamstring while on the field tonight. After just two carries for eight yards in Week 4, Barkley has missed each of his last two games. Following a full practice Saturday, the expectation is that the Eagles will get Barkley back. It couldn’t come at a better time; Dameon Pierce isn’t going to hold together the backfield. With Smith and Wicks also both sidelined, the Eagles do need an offensive weapon and a go-to option for McKee. That stands to be Barkley, as he has the pedigree to do so.

Tanner McKee, Philadelphia Eagles

As far as an opponent, there are few better for McKee than the Cowboys. He gets to play at home, and in primetime, against a Cowboys defense allowing the fifth-most DraftKings points to opposing quarterbacks. McKee’s first start, against the Carolina Panthers last week, resulted in 215 passing yards and a touchdown. He didn’t do anything on the ground, and only completed 57.8% of passes, but it was a solid first start. Of course, weapons are a problem, but McKee should have another solid performance. This works if you don’t have to force him into your lineup.

Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles

With no Smith or Wicks, Goedert becomes the number one downfield target for McKee. Workload shouldn’t be a problem as Goedert has six catches on 17 total targets in each of his last two games. The tight end hasn’t found the end zone since Week 1, but that should change tonight based on both opportunity and skill set.

George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys

Heading into the season, there was a lot of buzz, rightfully so, surrounding Pickens after what he did last year. Instead, Pickens got off to a slow start and created some stress. In the last two weeks, though, things have returned to be more of what we expected. He caught nine of 13 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 before following that up with six catches on 11 targets for 73 yards last week. In fairness to CeeDee Lamb, he was also targeted 18 times last week. Last year proved that the Cowboys’ offense can support both receivers at a high level.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

Will Prescott be able to reverse his fortunes this week? After throwing four touchdown passes in Week 2, Prescott has only managed a single touchdown pass in each of the next four games. The quantity is there, as Prescott has thrown for 1,689 yards, but he needs to get back into the end zone. For a quarterback that doesn’t run, touchdowns are needed.
