2026 NFL DFS: Monday Night Football

Both the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams played in primetime to begin the season. It was to mixed and surprising results, and now they close out Week 2 in an interesting Monday Night Football matchup. The initial thought process was that the Giants would be on their way to 0-2 while the Rams would end the week at 2-0. Now, the roles are reversed, and anything can happen tonight. We have a hungry Rams team looking to avenge an embarrassing Week 1 loss. That stands in contrast to the Giants, who had an impressive win. The Rams are favored by a touchdown, but with an over/under of 47.5, a lot can happen. Now, let’s take a look at our Monday Night DFS picks.

MNF Notes

Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams

We have to start with Nacua, right? Any time a player is a late addition to the injury report, it’s never a good thing. When it’s Nacua with a hip injury, it’s even worse. The receiver missed the last two practices of the week, and while the Rams are still holding out the chance that he does play, it’s hard to feel confident. If something changes in the minutes leading up to kickoff, it’s reasonable to want some exposure to Nacua in larger field tournaments. However, given his status and the way this is trending, I’m resistant to building a lineup around him.

Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams

With Nacua likely going to be sidelined, it only makes sense that we pivot to Adams. To be clear, it’s not like Adams isn’t very good, or wasn’t already on our radar, but now he takes on greater importance. The Giants secondary is dealing with some injury concerns, and we know the connection between Adams and Matthew Stafford is already established. Now, we just need Adams to bounce back from catching three of six targets for 26 yards in Week 1.

Malik Nabers, WR, New York Giants

It was unclear whether or not Nabers was going to play in Week 1, but then he took the field and helped lead the Giants to victory. There was still some rust involved, but Nabers got his return out of the way. Most importantly, he’s healthy, and things should go up from here after he caught six of nine targets for 69 yards. Tonight should be a perfect opportunity for Nabers to catch his first touchdown of the season. He’s going to be highly motivated, and the first game back is now out of his system.

Isaiah Likely, TE, New York Giants

While Nabers is going to be more involved this week, it doesn’t mean we should forget about Likely. He certainly made his presence felt in his debut with the Giants. The tight end caught eight passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns. As much as we’d like to see it happen, it’s going to be difficult for Likely to repeat that on a weekly basis. However, we also shouldn’t hold it against him, as his role in New York’s offense is clear.

Jaxson Dart, QB, New York Giants

Now, this is going to be a test of Dart. Well, maybe not if the Rams defense performs as they did last week. However, they are supposed to be a lot better. While Myles Garrett is out for the next few weeks, Aaron Donald is going to make his debut. Dart was able to do whatever he wanted to in Week 1, completing 23 of 29 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns. He also added 11 carries for 54 yards in what was a strong start to his sophomore season. The version of Dart that we see will also be dependent on the version of the Rams defense we see.
