Five weeks into the season, my record sits at 9-7-3. Week 5 was easily my worst week yet, finishing 0-3 as we got hooked on multiple plays. It happens, but we’re not going to dwell on it. Time to regroup, get back to the drawing board, and bounce back with some winners. Let’s get into this week’s NFL player props on DraftKings.

NFL Player Props for Week 6 on DraftKings
Parker Washington Over 62.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
With Texans defensive back Jalen Pitre officially ruled out with a shoulder injury, this matchup gets a lot more interesting. Pitre plays a versatile role in Houston’s secondary, including time in the slot, and his absence could create opportunities for Washington to take advantage of the middle of the field.
Washington has been a consistent part of Jacksonville’s passing attack this season. Outside of a run-heavy game plan against Cincinnati in Week 4, he’s shown the ability to make plays through the air, clearing 80 receiving yards in three of his first five games. With the potential for more opportunities against a banged-up Texans secondary, I like Washington to get over this number.
Kendrick Bourne Over 3.5 Receptions (+122)
With Marvin Harrison Jr. no longer part of the Arizona Cardinals’ picture, Kendrick Bourne has started making his presence felt. He led Arizona in receiving in Week 5, and the game script should help us here.
The Rams have had their share of problems defending slot receivers; Los Angeles ranks 16th in yards per target allowed to slot receivers, leaving room for Bourne to make an impact.
Bourne has also averaged 2.03 yards per route run against Cover 1 and Cover 4 coverage. At plus money, we’re only asking him to haul in four catches. If his involvement continues to trend in the right direction, this is a number I’m willing to take a shot on.
Wan’Dale Robinson Over 4.5 Receptions (+100)
We have been picking on the Colts’ defense all season, so why stop now? Robinson has carved out a reliable role in the passing game, commanding a 19.4% target share and a 24.2% first-read share in the Titans’ offense. He’s also running 78% of his routes from the slot, which puts him in a favorable position against an Indianapolis secondary that has struggled to defend that area of the field.
The Colts are allowing 2.01 yards per route run to slot receivers, the second-highest mark in the NFL. Through the first five weeks, no defense has surrendered more receiving yards or a higher completion rate over expected on slot targets than Indianapolis.
Robinson has also been a dependable option in the reception department. Outside of a tough one-catch performance against Philadelphia in Week 2, he’s cleared 4.5 receptions in every game this season. Over his last three outings, he’s drawn 23 targets, recording seven catches against the Giants, three against the Ravens, and six against the Texans.
Blake Corum Over 41.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
This play comes down to the matchup, game script, and the Rams’ scoring potential. Arizona has struggled to stop the run, ranking 23rd in rushing defense while allowing 126.6 rushing yards per game. The Cardinals are also giving up 4.4 yards per carry and have surrendered six rushing touchdowns through five weeks.
Meanwhile, the Rams enter this matchup with an implied team total of 31.5 points. If Los Angeles gets out in front early, that could create more opportunities to lean on the ground game and give Corum additional carries late in the contest.
Corum has quietly been productive with his opportunities, averaging 4.76 yards per carry on 38 attempts this season. At that rate, he doesn’t need a massive workload to clear 41.5 rushing yards.
The potential for a favorable game script, combined with Arizona’s struggles against the run, makes this an intriguing spot for Corum to get over his rushing total.
