A lot of Trade Target content in the Fantasy Football world is focused on bigger names that can win you a championship in the coming season. Most of the time, those trade targets are guys that most managers probably like, and will cost you an arm and a leg in your Dynasty Fantasy Football Leagues. But what about those managers out there who are rebuilding and reshaping their teams to be competitive in the future and cannot afford to go all in on a single player? That is where I come in.
What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax this season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune next season.
Rebuilding and reshaping your Dynasty Fantasy Football team is way easier said than done. There has to be a lot of strategy in place to make the necessary moves to elevate your roster. Identifying and making a move for the right players is a great way to get the ball rolling. Who are players potentially being overlooked? Who are players coming off a down year? Who are players who have flashed promise, but have not exploded yet for Fantasy Football?
The six players listed below are great targets for Dynasty football managers who are rebuilding their teams this offseason. All of these guys have a true buying window that managers can capitalize on now to truly boost their Dynasty squads. Let’s get it
6 Rebuilding Trade Targets for Dynasty Fantasy Football
1. Jordan Addison (WR, Vikings)
The Vikings selected Jordan Addison, a former Biletnikoff Award Winner, in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Addison finished his rookie season with 108 targets, 70 catches, 911 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns, and 13 Fantasy PPG. Addison played 15 games in his sophomore season, finishing with 99 targets, 63 catches, 875 yards, nine touchdowns, and 14.2 Fantasy PPG. In 2025, playing just 14 games and having iffy quarterback play, Addison finished with 79 targets, 42 receptions, 610 receiving yards, three touchdowns, and 9.7 Fantasy PPG.
While Addison is perceived as in the shadow of Justin Jefferson, he still is a very talented wide receiver with clear Fantasy Football FLEX upside. The Vikings offense should take a major step forward with the offseason addition of Kyler Murray, which could mean much bigger production this coming season for Addison.
2. Wan’Dale Robinson (WR, Titans)
Wan’Dale Robinson signed a four-year, $78 million contract with the Titans this offseason. This move reunites Robinson with Titans Offensive Coordinator, Brian Daboll, who was his former Giants Head Coach. Robinson is coming off of a breakout season, where he caught 92 of his 140 targets for 1,014 receiving yards, scored four touchdowns, and averaged 13.6 Fantasy PPG. The year before, Robinson earned 140 targets as well and caught 93 of them, with a healthy Malik Nabers on the field who missed a majority of 2025.
The Titans selected Carnell Tate with the fourth overall pick in 2026. While Tate may have higher upside than Robinson, Robinson may still be the better target earner or at least the more reliable one early on. Cam Ward showed signs of progression towards the end of last season, and the Titans have done a nice job building their offense this offseason. Robinson can be a very solid FLEX wide receiver moving forward, for a guy nobody seems to hype up even after a big 2025 season.
3. Travis Hunter (WR, Jaguars)
The Jaguars made a major move in the 2025 NFL Draft to select Travis Hunter with the second overall pick. Hunter was a dual WR/CB in college, who won the Heisman Trophy in his final season. Hunter was limited to just seven games in 2025 due to injury, but averaged 6.4 targets per game. In his final appearance back in Week 7, Hunter caught eight of his 14 targets for 101 receiving yards and a touchdown for 27.1 Fantasy Points.
There has been a mix of reports indicating what role Hunter will have in 2026, between playing wide receiver and cornerback. A lot of those reports hint at less offensive times. Hunter also has Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, and Parker Washington in his receiver room to compete with. A rebuilding Dynasty team might take this gamble on Hunter, who has elite playmaking abilities that could translate to Fantasy Football if he gets the snaps he needs. Nothing is set in stone for Hunter’s role, so the speculation could create a buy window, and even if 2026 is not ideal, he could grow into an offensive weapon over time.
4. Jayden Higgins (WR, Texans)
The Texans selected Jayden Higgins with the second pick of the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Higgins finished the year earning 68 targets, catching 41 of them for 525 yards, scoring six touchdowns, and averaging 7.6 Fantasy PPG. Higgins finished four weeks with 13+ Fantasy Points, showing FLEX potential.
The Texans attacked their offensive line through Free Agency and the NFL Draft, which could mean elevating CJ Stroud and the passing game. Higgins has a great opportunity to secure the WR2 role behind Nico Collins in 2026, which could mean more consistency for Fantasy Football and possibly a breakout.
5. Josh Downs (WR, Colts)
Josh Downs is coming off his worst statistical season, with context being some added target competition and the state of the quarterback play following Daniel Jones’ injury. Downs did earn 87 targets in 2025, 107 in 2024, and 98 in 2023, so there is some consistency in earning them there. Downs posted 771 yards as a rookie in 2023, then 803 yards, five touchdowns, and 13.1 Fantasy PPG in 2024. Downs is a slot receiver with true playmaking abilities, which is evident by him finishing inside the top 20 receivers in yards after the catch for both 2023 and 2024.
Michael Pittman Jr. is now a Steeler and vacates 111 targets. The Colts extended Alec Pierce on a major deal, and Tyler Warren flashed dominance, but outside of those two, there really is not much target competition. Pierce has also not been a true target earner as a Colt quite yet, either. Daniel Jones should return from injury, and Downs’ role can be even bigger in 2026. Downs can operate from the slot and deliver FLEX upside moving forward for Fantasy Football managers.
6. Kyle Monangai (RB, Bears)
Kyle Monangai was a seventh-round selection by the Bears in the 2025 NFL Draft, and surprisingly created a big role in his rookie season with D’Andre Swift in front of him. Monangai finished the year with 169 rushing attempts, 783 rushing yards, 4.6 yards per carry, 18 receptions, 164 receiving yards, five total touchdowns, and 8.6 Fantasy PPG. The biggest flashes came in Week 9, when Monangai rushed for 176 yards, and then in Week 13 when he rushed for 130 yards.
Swift and Monangai complement each other well. Swift is more of an agile, dual-threat back while Monangai is a short-yardage, hard-nosed runner. The Bears’ offense was one of the biggest NFL risers in 2025 under Ben Johnson, which can continue moving forward. Monangai can have stand-alone value if he continues to make the Bears’ backfield a committee, and he has upside as a handcuff to Swift, at a minimum. D’Andre Swift is also a Free Agent come the 2027 season.
