Dixie Vodka 400: NASCAR DFS Picks

The Dixie Vodka 400 is the second “semifinal” race, with playoff drivers attempting to win to lock in their spot for the finals. Joey Logano guaranteed his shot at the Cup Championship last week, so let’s take a look at who we should roster for our DFS contests this afternoon.

Dixie Vodka 400: DFS Picks and Preview

We don’t often witness someone losing absolute control in real-time, but Bubba Wallace gave that to us in spades last week.

Because we’ve reached the magical sports month where pretty much all of them are happening simultaneously, I had the race on a side TV on mute. It’s not exactly the sport in which we expect to see someone marching across the infield, so when I saw it, I tried to unmute it and, instead, managed to shut all of the TVs off.

I, too, received a one-week suspension. From holding the remotes. By my wife and best friend.

In any case, everyone escaped Las Vegas intact, and now we’re going to put wheels on the hot Florida asphalt for the Dixie Vodka 400.

The Contenders

In 23 total races at this track, 16 of the winners began the race in the Top 10. While this stat is certainly interesting, there are a few contenders starting in the vicinity of the Top 10 that I am interested in for this afternoon. I think it’s Denny Hamlin’s race to lose this week, but the secret is finding the rest of the lineup to help you bring home some cash.

As we’ve been doing, here is a look at the salaries, starting position (SP), and Homestead-Miami Speedway ratings (DR) of the remaining playoff drivers.

Dixie Vodka 400: DFS Lineups

Austin Dillon and Daniel Suarez are the two repeat values between FanDuel and DraftKings, primarily due to their starting positions, but Dillon does have a 90.2 driver rating at Homestead. Justin Haley did not let me down last week, and I’m willing to nab him once again today. If you choose to fade Hamlin, the Chastain/Logano/Busch stack of values is promising on DK.

Homestead can run fast; this will be the first time the NextGen cars will run there. Like everything else in this crazy season, we have no idea what will happen, so we can only go off the best info we have. That said, here are two lineups, one for each site, that I plan to enter into GPP lineups.
