It’s fantasy football playoff time and you won’t want to miss out on these Week 15 RB rankings. Make no mistakes this week, and let’s ride into the semi-finals.
A lot of things happened last week, Christian McCaffrey looks as if he will lead you into a deep playoff run. Tony Pollard is by far the lead back in Dallas, and Zonovan Knight might just be the real deal.
Some injuries did occur though. Dameon Pierce will miss Week 15, and possibly more. Rhamondre Stevenson had to leave Monday night’s game and his injury is unclear going forward. Lastly, Jeff Wilson Jr. sustained a hip injury and his status is up in the air going into Week 15.
As for the better news, Week 15 means bye weeks are done for the rest of the season.
Week 15 RB Notes:
- Let’s start with Knight. I have Knight as my RB19 this week against the Detroit Lions. Since Week 12 Knight averaged 15 touches a game and has finished inside the top 15 twice. Against the Bills last week Knight put up 14.7 fantasy points. However this week, Knight could be without Mike White at quarterback. This could hurt the flow of the offense or Knight could be the whole offense this week.
- James Conner is my RB18 this week against the Broncos. The Broncos have been on the better side when it comes to fantasy running backs. But, Conner has been on fire the last couple of weeks. In his last five games, he has finished in the top five, three times. Even with Colt McCoy playing, Conner put up 85 yards and a touchdown on Monday. Along with six receptions and 29 yards. Conner will be a league winner going into the postseason.
- Pollard jumps up to my RB7 this week. The reason is, he has been so consistent this season. Last week he put up two total touchdowns on 62 scrimmage yards. Even when he shares the ball with Ezekiel Elliott, Pollard still gets his production. This week the Cowboys have the Jaguars, who are giving up 21.2 fantasy points to running backs this season.
- Lastly, I have J.K. Dobbins as my RB21. Dobbins has been out throughout this season with injuries. But, after missing six games, I did not think he would put up 120 yards and a touchdown on 15 touches. Instantly Dobbins moved back into the starting role, even with Gus Edwards and Kenyan Drake playing well. This week Dobbins has the Browns, who are giving up the third most fantasy points per game to running backs. Dobbins is an RB2 for the rest of the season.
