2023 Fantasy Football: Biggest ADP Risers and Fallers

There are many factors that can cause the movement behind fantasy football’s biggest ADP risers and fallers.

Injuries and recent signings are both factors. Some weeks we have suspensions and some weeks we have players and management having public disagreements over health. Some of these big swings in perceived value are overreactions and some are valid. Our goal is to help you reach the right decision as to what is causing these changes in ADP and help you take advantage of them. These are the biggest ADP movers in the last week.

ADP Risers and Fallers

ADP Risers

Romeo Doubs – The largest ADP riser is Romeo Doubs. Reports are that Doubs seems to have the best connection with the new Green Bay QB, Jordan Love. The rookie receiver drafted by the Packers, Jayden Reed, has seen his ADP drop by 10 points. Christian Watson’s ADP is 60. At 140 and rising Doubs could be a late-round steal but not if his ADP rises much more.

Justyn Ross – With Kadarius Toney having another knee surgery, there is definitely a need for someone to take a step up. Ross has gotten rave reviews so far in this camp after missing all of last year. There are plenty of Fantasy points for anyone who is a legitimate top-three receiver on the Chiefs’ roster.

Mike Gesicki – It looks like drafters have finally realized that the Patriots signed Mike Gesicki. New England is trying to get back to the days of Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. Adding him to Hunter Henry and this just might happen. Keep an eye on this development. He is an excellent receiving TE and if used properly I expect his stock to keep rising.

Calvin Ridley – Ridley is up five spots in the last week. Right now his ADP is at 38 and rising and that sounds about right. We may not know until he plays a few games exactly the right spot to draft him.

Alvin Kamara – With this little movement, I am thinking most had his suspension baked into his ADP before the announcement of exactly how many games he will miss. Part of this story though is what happened to his mates in the backfield. Kendre Miller rose by five spots and Jamaal Williams only rose one spot. I am guessing that Williams’ role isn’t going to change much but we will get to see a lot more of Miller.

ADP Fallers

Mac Jones – At an ADP of 201 and an average ranking of QB27, he is only relevant if you are in a two-QB league. There is no injury or comment from camp that would cause this fall other than the fact that he won’t play in the first preseason game.

Zach Ertz – It’s official. Ertz is now on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Trey McBride is now in line for a huge jump in targets and his ADP should take a huge jump on my next ADP risers and fallers update.

Jonathan Mingo – When looking at ADP risers and fallers, this is one of those anomalies you get before the season starts. Therefore,  I see no reason to move him down. If anything, from the camp reports I might even move him up. Cash in on the discount.

Kadarius Toney – Another year and another surgery. This time his surgery is just for “clean up”. Reports are that he could be on the field for week one but this is not a good start to the season.

Zack Evans – Evans was drafted by the Rams in the sixth round of this year’s draft to be a backup for Cam Akers. With Sony Michel retiring it looked like he could have a chance to be the number two. However, this week the Rams signed Royce Freeman to the squad and this is one of those overreactions. Freeman is a journeyman with very little upside. Watch the movement on Evans and if the ADP gets too low, go for the upside and the discount.
