As we get closer and closer to the playoffs, every win is becoming more and more crucial. These Week 8 RB rankings will be sure to keep your team in line to make the playoff cut. Luckily Week 8 has no teams on a bye. So, it is fair game, the problem is figuring out who to start. On that note let’s get into this week’s RB rankings.

Running Back Notes
- Travis Etienne Jr. is my RB4 of the week. This means he beat out Tony Pollard, Kenneth Walker III, and D’Andre Swift. The reason is, that Etienne has been on fire as of late and has a great matchup in the Steelers. In his last three games, he has finished in the top five of running backs. Start Etienne with confidence this week. On the season he is the RB3.
- Kareem Hunt is my RB25 for Week 8. Hunt has three touchdowns on the year and will be in line for a huge week with Jerome Ford out. Hunt scored two touchdowns last week and put up 15.1 fantasy points. Slowly but surely Hunt has been looking more and more involved in the offense and this week should be his breakout game. He does have the Seahawks this week so be cautious about starting him over players like Rhamondre Stevenson and Javonte Williams who have slightly better matchups.
- D’Onta Foreman is my RB20 this week. I wouldn’t put last week’s performance as a fluke. Last week Foreman had two touchdowns on 16 carries for 89 yards. The week before he had 15 carries for 65 yards but no touchdowns. It shows that Foreman is running hard and is a touchdown away from dropping close to 20 fantasy points. He has a great start against the Chargers.
- AJ Dillon had a solid week last week, but that still doesn’t jump him up in my rankings. I have him as my RB35 for Week 8. The reason he doesn’t jump up is Aaron Jones. Jones is getting more and more healthy and just overall looks better when healthy. Dillon had a chance to break out while Jones was out, but his highest-scoring outing was 13.6. The Packers also face the Vikings who are only giving up 15 fantasy points a game to running backs.
