Deep League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 7

David Roddy, SF/PF – Memphis Grizzlies (30% rostered)

“Big Body Roddy” has enjoyed a fantastic five-game stretch, averaging 11.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 three-pointers, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 stocks. The 22-year-old has started the past three games for Memphis, where he should stay until Ja Morant (suspension) returns. Add the former Colorado State Ram if you need points, boards, and treys along with low-end dimes and stocks.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker, SG/SF – Minnesota Timberwolves (28% rostered)

“NAW” has been fairly consistent across the board since entering the starting lineup, averaging 8.5 points, 3.2 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers, and 2.0 stocks over the past six games. He has a safe floor in the starting lineup and boasts plenty of upside for however long Anthony Edwards (hip) is out.

Simone Fontecchio, SF – Utah Jazz (23% rostered)

Fontecchio has been on a HEATER since entering the starting lineup for the injured Lauri Markkanen (hamstring), averaging 11.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.4 three-pointers, and 1.4 stocks over the past five games. The 27-year-old will continue to start and produce consistent points, boards, dimes, treys, and stocks as long as Markkanen is sidelined.

Patrick Beverley, PG – Philadelphia 76ers (19% rostered)

Beverley has been a steady six-cat contributor over his last four games, averaging 13.8 points on 57.5 field-goal shooting, 5.3 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 three-pointers, and 0.8 steals during that span. The 35-year-old is on fire and playing the most he’s had all season over the past four games. Ride the hot hand.

Omer Yurtseven, C – Utah Jazz (21% rostered)

Yurtseven has started the past five games for Utah, averaging 5.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 21.2 minutes. The Jazz seem comfortable with Walker Kessler coming off the bench, which gives “Big Yurt” a safe rebound and block floor. Add the Turkish big man if you need rebounds and blocks.

Moses Moody, SG/SF – Golden State Warriors (33% rostered)

Moody has started the past two games for the injured Andrew Wiggins (finger), averaging 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers, and 1.0 steals. He’d be higher on this list if Wiggins were guaranteed to miss time, but the 21-year-old should be added regardless. Head coach Steve Kerr openly praised him after Saturday’s 21-point effort, which usually means more minutes moving forward.

Kevin Love, PF – Miami Heat (28% rostered)

Love may not start or receive a ton of minutes off the bench, but the 16-year veteran has been extremely efficient in limited minutes lately. Over his past five games, the UCLA product is averaging 8.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.2 three-pointers in 19.5 minutes. The 35-year-old could help a lot of teams in need of boards, dimes, and treys.

Troy Brown, SF/PF – Minnesota Timberwolves (12% rostered)

Brown has started the past two games in place of the injured Anthony Edwards, averaging 8.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 three-pointers, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in 30.3 minutes. The 24-year-old should start for however long Edwards is out and provide decent 3-and-D stats.
