2024 Fantasy Football: Week 10 Weekend Waiver Wire

It is November and you are probably looking for a must-stash. That is a must-stash player or two for your fantasy team. You should be starting to look towards the playoffs and picking up players with the potential to give you the needed push to your starting lineup in the second half of the fantasy season and the fantasy playoffs.

Let’s take a look at some great options to add to your team before the games start on Sunday.

Week 10 Weekend Waiver Wire

Quarterbacks

Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers just added Mike Williams at wide receiver via a trade with the Jets. This should actually help Wilson. He has two games against the Ravens left on the schedule and everyone passes on the Ravens.

Daniel Jones, New York Giants

Jones has a very easy schedule starting in Week 10. With seven games to go he will be facing six teams that do not defend the pass well. Starts with the Panthers in Week 10.

Other quarterbacks to consider:

  • Bo Nix – Denver Broncos, Easy schedule for the rest of the season. Had a bad game in Week 9 but still passed for over 220 yards.
  • Jameis Winston – Cleveland Browns, Winston is going to throw touchdowns and interceptions, but touchdowns.

Quarterback Notes: Wilson has an easy schedule and good wide receivers. Jones has a super easy schedule which will make him viable for streaming and bye weeks.

Running Backs

Ray Davis, Buffalo Bills

In Week 9 Davis had four carries for 20 yards and two receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown. He has some standalone value but is touchdown-dependent. If anything happens to James Cook though Davis will easily carry the full load at running back for the Bills

Other running backs to consider:

  • Jalen Warren- Pittsburgh Steelers, getting about 10 touches per game, clear back up to Najee Harris
  • Cam Akers – Minnesota Vikings, somehow Akers keeps popping up. In Week 9 he had 8 total touches and looks like the clear backup to Aaron Jones.

Running Back Notes: Davis should be rostered in all leagues. Any other add at running back right now is as a handcuff.

Wide Receivers

Ricky Pearsall, San Francisco 49ers

Pearsall is the replacement for Brandon Aiyuk. This is a case of Pearsall fitting into the right spot on the Niners lineup. The opportunity will be there for him to produce in Week 10.

Xavier Legette, Carolina Panthers

Legette led the team in targets in Week 9. He also had a touchdown in his second straight game. The toe looked fine. He is getting the red zone looks and they don’t have anyone else.

Noah Brown, Washington Commanders

Brown has six targets in each of the past two games. He is second on the team in wide receiver snaps. I would monitor his progress in Week 10. If Jayden Daniels starts to trust him Brown could become a viable play fast.

Other wide receivers to consider:

  • Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Tennessee Titans,  Nick has a touchdown in each of the last four games.
  • Quinten Johnston – Los Angeles Chargers, 5 targets, 4 receptions, 118 yards, TD

Wide Receiver Notes: I prefer Legette out of all of these guys for the immediate future. Johnston is someone I would add and not play in Week 10.

Tight Ends

Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints

Hill is back in the lineup and producing. Taysom had 5 carries for 19 yards and a touchdown rushing and 4 receptions and 41 yards receiving. He is the goal line back and will be utilized in a multitude of ways.

Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

I keep writing about Henry here and people just don’t want to add him. He is on the filed for 87% of the offensive snaps. He has a high floor with over 40 yards in each of the past four games. If you are in need of a tight end he is available.

Other tight ends to consider:

Josh Oliver – Minnesota Vikings, He has led Vikings tight ends in snaps the past three games. Touchdowns in the past two games. TJ Hockenson might eat into this production but we should monitor this.

Tight End Notes: Hill and Henry should both be added in every league. These are two potential weekly top 10 tight ends. Oliver is an interesting case as he appears to be earning targets, which is a surprise.
