Week 7 is here, and my wide receiver rankings will be your key to checking one more win off the list. We got some terrible news last week that Davante Adams will miss six to 10 weeks with a hamstring injury. We also got news that Terry McLaurin will miss the rest of the season with a torn patellar tendon. The good news is that if you lost one of these receivers, there are some young players showing up, like Germie Bernard and Omar Cooper Jr.

Wide Receiver Notes:
- Let’s start with Germie Bernard as my WR23 against the Saints. Bernard has shown he can easily be the WR2, and with Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson on IR, Aaron Rodgers needs someone to throw to. Bernard has 21 targets in his last two weeks and brought in 17 of them. He was the WR3 last week, putting up 87 yards on 11 receptions and one touchdown. This week, he faces the Saints, who are giving up 26 fantasy points per week to wide receivers.
- Next, I have Justin Jefferson as my WR14 against the Colts. Jefferson has been disappointing this year and drops out of my top 10 for Week 7. He has only scored in the double digits in two games, granted he did miss one game due to injury. Jefferson should be putting up 20-plus points per game, as he has no competition, but the Vikings’ passing offense ranks second to last in the league in yards. So, Jefferson is in a tricky position this week against a Colts defense that is giving up 25.6 fantasy points per game. This game will be unpredictable, as the matchup is great but the passing offense looks terrible.
- Lastly, I have Carnell Tate as my WR25 against the Cleveland Browns. Tate is starting to come around. The consistency isn’t quite there, but the matchup is favorable this week. The Browns are giving up 28.4 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Tate is having his moment, but it depends on when he is feeling it. In Week 5, he had 12 targets and brought in nine for 145 yards. In Week 6, he had five targets and brought in only one for six yards. Then, last week, he had seven targets, brought in six for 70 yards and a touchdown. The good thing is that Tate leads the team with 44 targets on the season, followed by Wan’Dale Robinson with 37.
