NFL DFS: Week 7 DraftKings Main Slate

The DraftKings Week 7 main slate is right around the corner. And this slate is another tricky one as we get into the bye weeks. Four teams are on bye, but we have an international game, so it really turns out to be six. Even with all of the teams on bye, there is still two clear matchups to target. And we will start with the quarterback for one of those matchups.

Week 7 DraftKings Main Slate Plays

Quarterback

Favorite Play: Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers ($6,000)

The Packers have gone full air raid in 2026. They are ninth in passing attempts and fifth in passing yards per game. Green Bay is a three-point underdog against the Detroit Lions this Sunday. With the projected total sitting at 53.5, it is the highest total of the entire week. And the Lions are giving up the most fantasy points to the quarterback position. At the sixth-highest salary on DraftKings, Love is still a value. Fire him up with confidence for your DraftKings lineups this week.

Contrarian Play: Bo Nix, Denver Broncos ($5,000)

Look, Bo Nix has had an absolutely horrific start. Only scoring 4.5 DraftKings points last week against the Seattle Seahawks. And then just 8.9 DraftKings points against the struggling Los Angeles Chargers. The offense has looked out of sorts, to say the least. Out of 50 eligible quarterbacks, Nix is 48th with a 5.56 average depth of target. And they have the fourth-fewest passing plays of 20+ yards.

However, the Arizona Cardinals give up the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. If there was a get-right spot, It’s this one. And with the Cardinals’ defense’s impressive showing against the Rams. Many DraftKings users will shy away from Nix. He is a perfect contrarian play this week.

Running Back

Favorite Play: Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions ($9,800)

Keeping this short, simple, and sweet. We already highlighted this game earlier. Gibbs is having one of the best fantasy seasons in recent memory. He is averaging 32.1 DraftKings points per game. That is almost 10 points higher than the second-highest, with Bijan Robinson at 22.4 points per game. Gibbs is also +155 to score not once, but twice.

The only concern is that his salary is getting a little too high at $9,800. He limits lineup construction, but his ceiling makes it worth it.

Contrarian Play: Cam Skattebo, New York Giants ($5,100)

Would the ultimate contrarian play be the guy who had zero touches last week? I think he would be. Skattebo found himself in the doghouse last week. And now draws a matchup against the Houston Texans. The Texans allow 3.4 yards per carry, the third lowest in the league. Najee Harris was released earlier this week. Which means Skattebo could return to relevance this week. A bad matchup and uncertainty could lead to ownership on DraftKings under 2%.

Wide Receiver

Favorite Play: Drake London, Atlanta Falcons ($7,500)

London is due for some positive touchdown regression. He has the most targets without a touchdown, with 47. Still, London is WR8 in fantasy points per game, with Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback. That includes Omar Cooper Jr., who played only one game in that time frame. The game has the week’s second-highest total at 49.5. And the Falcons are underdogs to the San Francisco 49ers. I predict London will find the end zone in this high-scoring contest.

Contrarian Play: Malik Washington, Miami Dolphins ($4,900)

Washington is an elite target earner for the Dolphins. He has a 28% target share. That’s the ninth-highest in the league. How much does that matter for a squad that scores 14 points per game? That is why his DraftKings salary is $4,900. The Dolphins project for the third-lowest point total at 17.5. Not many DraftKings users are chomping at the bit to play Dolphins players. This makes him a fantastic flex option for DraftKings lineups. The New York Jets give up the fourth-most fantasy points to slot receivers.

Tight End

Favorite Play: George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers ($5,700)

I could pick Brock Bowers every week, but that would be cheating. So, we will go with one of the next best at the position. Kittle has been a touchdown machine this season, scoring in four of six games, including twice in one game. Despite coming off a torn Achilles, Kittle has not missed a beat. He is fourth at the position in air yards, seventh in targets, and second in yards after the catch.

Not to mention that they are already without several targets on offense. And could also be missing Mike Evans for this game. Which would see Kittle’s 21.6% target share rise even higher. Kittle could challenge for TE1 on this slate if Evans is forced to miss this high-scoring matchup.

Contrarian Play: Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens ($3,900)

Look, it has not been a pleasant few weeks for Mark Andrews. Some devastating drops and low DraftKings scores. However, Lamar Jackson could return to the fold to give the offense a boost. And Andrews advanced metrics are not half bad. Tenth in air yards and eighth in red zone targets. Add in the fact that the Cincinnati Bengals give up the ninth most points to the position, and you have a fantastic contrarian play at a thin position.

Final Thoughts

The DraftKings Week 7 slate has two clear matchups at the top. And I would recommend getting pieces of those teams in your DraftKings lineups this Sunday. I wish everyone the best of luck for the Week 7 DraftKings slate.
