Seven weeks into the season, my record stands at 15-9-3. Week 7 was another strong week, as we have now gone 3-1 in back-to-back weeks. Week 8 is here, and the goal is to keep this momentum rolling. Let’s look at some DraftKings player props that I’m targeting this week.

NFL Player Props for Week 8 on DraftKings
DJ Moore Over 55.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
The Baltimore Ravens have struggled against opposing wide receivers this season. Moore has only played two full games so this is a great spot. Baltimore is allowing the fourth-most yards per target (9.63) and the fifth-most receiving yards per game (181.6) to wide receivers. Vegas loves the environment, as they are predicting an Over/Under of 54.5 on most books. Moore’s line is too low for the matchup and game environment.
Jeremiyah Love Over 10+ Rushing Attempts (-127)
This is a great buy low spot. We all know Jeremiah Love is super talented, but he’s just been dealing with ankle problems over the last two weeks. He gets a great matchup vs. Dallas, which has struggled against running backs all year. The Cowboys are allowing the sixth-most rushing attempts to the position this season. They’re also giving up the fifth-most rushing yards and fourth-most rushing touchdowns to opposing RBs. Dallas is also allowing 145.7 rushing yards per game, which ranks as the worst mark in the NFL, along with 4.7 yards per carry. The biggest concern is game script. Unless this game gets completely out of hand, I like his chances of getting there.
Chris Rodriguez Over 31.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
The Colts rank dead last in PFF’s run defense grade, which makes this an appealing matchup for Rodriguez. He cleared this number vs. the Texans overseas before the Jags went on bye. Jacksonville is currently favored by 9.5 to 10 points, and I could see this situation playing out similarly to what we’ve seen with the Rams and their backfield featuring Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. If Jacksonville gets ahead early, Rodriguez could have an opportunity to get some additional carries and put this number away.
Geno Smith Over 223.5 Passing Yards (-112)
We all love a good revenge game, and Geno Smith gets an opportunity to make some noise against his former team. The Raiders have been one of the more generous defenses to opposing quarterbacks this season. They rank 27th in EPA per pass, 25th in pass defense DVOA, and are tied for allowing the second-most passing touchdowns in the league.
Smith has also cleared this passing yards number in five of his seven games this season. With the matchup working in his favor, I like his chances of getting over 223.5 yards.
Antonio Williams Over 36.5 Receiving Yards (-112)
Williams runs approximately 47.8% of his routes from the slot, which is an important factor in this matchup.
The Eagles have struggled defending the pass this season; they rank 26th in the NFL in pass defense. They’ve also shown vulnerability against slot receivers. Williams already showed what he could do against Philadelphia in their Week 1 meeting, finishing with 64 receiving yards. With that previous performance and the matchup in his favor, I like him to get over 36.5 receiving yards.
