The King’s Rest of Season Rankings Prior to Week 14

Designed to help you with roster management such as trades and waiver moves, here are Scott Engel’s Fantasy Football ROS Rankings for PPR and standard formats prior to Fantasy Football Week 14.

My rest of season rankings below appear in PPR and Standard formats. I have included key player notes at the skill positions for further insights on where and how I value players after 12 weeks.

This is my final installment of the Rest of the Season Rankings for the 2019 season. This version was done with your Fantasy Football playoff outlooks in mind, so you can know who your core players are for the postseason. Then, based on rankings below that, you can see who is recommended to be more dependable and reliable among the other players you may rotate or stream around them.

This version of the rankings is heavily focused on who can be most dependable for your playoffs, based on overall and recent performances. There is still an emphasis on waiver wire adds here, but at this time of the season there isn’t a heavy amount of players to add that may make anything more than a flex impact. There are no more byes, and with half of your league now inactive, fewer players are also going to be dropped.

You will notice towards the end of the RB rankings that we continue to include essential handcuffs. At this time of year it is very important to roster the top NFL backups to your starting running backs, rather than taking a flier on a guy you may not start at all in your Fantasy playoffs. You do not want to be caught in a situation where your starter goes down and you have to go to the waiver wire to contend for the top backup. That is why rostering projected potential starters in case of injuries, such as Tony Pollard and Ryquell Armstead is highly recommended as you enter the postseason.

  1. I completely disagree on Carson Wentz at 22. While I agree, he has struggled his last four games but he also faced: DAL, BUF, CHI, and NE in that stretch. He only has one tough matchup remaining this year. He’ll finish in the top-12.

    • Thanks a lot for the comment. Wentz was not impressive against Atlanta, Detroit and the Jets, either. He is lacking playmakers in the passing game. I take it you either own Wentz or are a Philly fan. Best of luck in the playoffs and thanks for reading

  2. It says to avoid Ty Johnson in a messy committee but he is ranked ahead of McCoy, Gore, Mixon, Freeman, Howard, Gordon, Walton etc.

  3. Lolol…….Chark as 51?! Gimme a break
Also, Godwin down in the teens?! Dude is number one right now. That would be one heck of a regression
