If you read Friday’s article, there’s a good chance you made some money. We nailed guys like Derrick Rose, Domantas Sabonis and Andre Drummond, with the center out of Detroit dropping one of the best lines of the season. That’s why we’re going right back to the well with Drummond and we’ll get to that at the end of the article. With that in mind, let’s kick off our 11/4 NBA DFS plays with another guy who was featured in Friday’s piece!

11/4 NBA DFS Point Guards
Kyrie Irving, BRK vs. NOP
DK ($9,500) FD ($9,700)
Despite Irving not having a monster scoring game following our recommendation on Friday, he did pick up his first triple-double of the season. That’s truly indicative of how much his all-around game has expanded this season, with Irving averaging 30.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game. What makes that all the less surprising is the fact that Irving is averaging 23 shots and a 30-percent usage rate this season. That’s big news against a Pelicans defense who’s allowing the most fantasy points in the league to opposing point guards.
Jeff Teague, MIN vs. MIL
DK ($6,000) FD ($6,200)
Teague has always been a favorite of mine and I love him with Karl-Anthony Towns serving a suspension here. In the first game that Towns missed, Teague collected 15 points, four rebounds, 13 assists and four steals en route to a season-best 46 DK points. The simple fact is, he’s handling the ball on pretty much every possession with Towns off the floor and that’s awesome for such a talented player like Teague. Milwaukee has been struggling with PGs this season too, owning a 21st OPRK against them according to DraftKings.
11/4 NBA DFS Shooting Guards
Josh Hart, NOP at BRK
DK ($5,100) FD ($5,900)
Hart has quietly had a nice year for the Pelicans and it appears he’ll get some extra run with players like Zion Williamson and Derrick Favors sidelined. That’s certainly been the case early on, with Hart averaging 29.2 DK points per game across 29.2 minutes of action. That equates to a fantasy point-per minute, which is all you can ask for from a player in the $5,000-range. Getting to face Brooklyn is the icing on the cake, with the Nets ranked 26th in points allowed this season.
Josh Richardson, PHI at PHX
DK ($4,600) FD ($6,100)
While I’m not huge on that FanDuel price, this DraftKings price is way too tasty to pass up. We’re talking about a guy who’s averaging 29 DK points per game as it is, which alone is approaching 7X value. The reason he becomes intriguing today is that Joel Embiid is out of the lineup. That opens up shots and usage for everyone else, which was clear when Richardson dropped a season-best 33 DK points across 36 minutes of action on Saturday. We’re certainly not worried about Phoenix’s defense either and we’ll go over that in the next write-up.
11/4 NBA DFS Small Forwards
Tobias Harris, PHI at PHX
DK ($7,000) FD ($7,300)
The Sixers are going to be a common trend in this article and it’s all because Joel Embiid is out of the lineup. That’s about 25 points, 12 rebounds and a 30-percent usage rate that needs to be made up and these players are plenty capable of making up that production. Harris showed that on Saturday when he dropped 42.3 DK points, which brought his season average up to 38.5 fantasy points per game. That’s a stellar average from a player barely cracking $7,000 and he should be looking at 35 minutes and 20 shots here. While the Suns defense has improved, this is still a club that ranked 29th in defensive efficiency last season.
Mario Hezonja, POR at GS
DK ($3,700) FD ($4,400)
I’m really surprised that these sites are keeping Hezonja’s price so low. Since Zach Collins went down, he’s been inserted into the starting lineup. It’s done wonders for his fantasy value too, scoring at least 21 DK points in three of his last four games while dropping a season-best 37.5 DK points in his last outing. That’s 10X value at this price tag and that’s obviously absurd ROI. What adds to his intrigue here is the fact that Hassan Whiteside and Rodney Hoof could miss this game, with both guys entering this matchup questionable with knee ailments. The best part about all of this is the matchup though, with Golden State ranked dead-last in defensive rating.
11/4 NBA DFS Power Forwards
Al Horford, PHI at PHX
DK ($6,900) FD ($7,500)
This is the final piece to our Sixers stack. Horford is actually my favorite per-dollar play on the board, as he benefits more from Embiid’s absence than anyone on the floor. That was crystal clear when Horford led the team with 24 shots and a 31 percent usage rate in that win on Saturday. That led to him collecting 25 points, five rebounds, seven assists and two blocks which is easily his best line of the season. While he likely won’t duplicate that, it’s impossible to overlook that sort of upside at this affordable price tag in a quality matchup.
Eric Paschall, GS vs. POR
DK ($5,000) FD ($5,800)
Paschall might be the best player on the Warriors right now. That obviously won’t be the case when D’Angelo Russell returns from his one-game absence but he’d likely be the focal point of the frontcourt even if Russell returns. The reason for that is because Kevon Looney and Draymond Green are both injured. That’s led to Paschall playing at least 35 minutes in two of his last three games while averaging 32 DK points per game in those two fixtures. What I like most is the fact that he led the team with a 29 percent usage rate in the most recent loss, indicating that he’s one of the most valuable players on this roster right now.
11/4 NBA DFS Centers
Andre Drummond, DET at WSH
DK ($10,400) FD ($10,600)
Drummond has been an absolute freak this season and he’s going to remain in these articles until he’s above $1,000 or until Blake Griffin returns. Not only is this dude dropping 20-20 games like it’s nothing, he’s actually averaging 71 DK points per game across his last two fixtures. In that span, Drummond is averaging 25.5 points, 22 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.5 steals and 4.0 blocks per game. Wow! Those are simply bonkers statistics and it makes him impossible to fade right now, particularly in a matchup like this. Washington currently sits 27th in defensive rating, 28th in points allowed and fourth in pace, if you needed any more incentive to use Drummond.
Gorgui Dieng, MIN vs. MIL
DK ($3,300) FD ($4,000)
With Towns out, Dieng should find himself as the starting center yet again. In the win on Friday, Dieng accrued 39.5 DK points, despite not being a part of the rotation before that. It’s clear that they want him to play big minutes when Towns is out and that makes this the final opportunity to capitalize on this silly price tag. This is a guy who’s regularly provided more than a fantasy point-per minute throughout his career too, as he should be closer to $5,000 on DK and FanDuel with this sort of role and upside.
