Fantasy Basketball: Week 15 Trade Targets

In this week’s trade targets article, we look at few Indiana Pacers and one Philadelphia 76er. Injury is still dictating the performance and opportunity for most of our trade target players.

Like any good stock trader, the best time to sell is when the value of a commodity is high. Inversely, the best time to buy is when a commodity value is low.

Our key trade targets take into consideration those players that have changed significantly in value when comparing their preseason average draft position (ADP) with their current production after the first 14 weeks of the NBA season.

Fantasy Basketball Week 15 Trade Targets

Malcolm Brogdon – Indiana Pacers

Action: Buy Low

The Brogdog has not had a great run recently. He returned from injury a few weeks ago and we had high hopes he would be back to efficient best. Alas, he got dinged up again and has been out of sorts since. On top of his current injury, Victor Oladipo has recently returned.

Never fear though, with the all-star break around the corner, he will get some time to rest and recover. We see big things on the horizon for the back half of the year for Brogdon.

If you need great percentages and good assist numbers, Brogdon is a great trade target this week.

Ben Simmons – Philadelphia 76ers

Action: Sell High

Ben Simmons has been fantastic recently. He has averaged 22.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 8.4 points, 2.3 steals whilst shooting 63% from the field over the last two weeks.

Simmons went on a similar tear late last year with Joel Embiid out. With Embiid now back, Simmons will likely drop back to his regular value.

He is a great trade target this week before Embiid makes a bigger dent in Simmons’ value.

TJ Warren – Indiana Pacers

Action: Sell High

With the return of Victor Oladipo today, TJ Warren will be most impacted. Warren has been solid all season for the Pacers. He has shot over 50% from the field and has averaged 18.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.4 assist and 1.1 steals.

After a big showing last week, with 28.7 points per game, now is the perfect time to sell Warren off before Oladipo impacts his usage too much.
