🔥🔥 Gameweek 35 Player Rankings: Hot List 🔥🔥
Christian Pulisic
Position: Midfield
Team: Chelsea
Ownership: 98%
Points Average Since the Restart: 17
Remaining Fixtures: @shu, NOR, @liv, WOL
What’s Changed?: Until now, I’ve been reticent to celebrate Pulisic’s success, but with his electric performances, Boy-Wonder, Captain America, USA’s Soccer Savior, The American Messi, or whatever else you’d like to call him, he’s earned it! (Did I mention that I’m American? So, no bias here or anything.) But we’re talking about a player who has clearly earned his manager’s trust, looks to be a nailed-on starter and is averaging a ridiculous 17 points per match since the restart. Pulisic is white-hot. He’s picking up ghost points all over the pitch, but why depend on those when he’s also scoring and assisting seemingly every match? Bottom line: if you can get him in, get him in.
Mason Greenwood
Position: Forward
Team: Manchester United
Ownership: 77%
Points Average Since the Restart: 12.5
Remaining Fixtures: SOU, @cry, WHU, @lei
What’s Changed?: We have to talk about the kid. How well has Greenwood played lately? Well, he’s got pundits asking “Do United even need Sancho now?” Think about what a massive compliment that is to this young lad, and for good reason. He’s secured a starting spot in this side. He’s averaging 12.5 PPG since the restart, but an insane 22 PPG over the last two matches. Now, though, comes a word of warning. If he’s on your waiver wire, obviously add him. If you can trade for him at a reasonable price, amazing. But, those last two matches were against Brighton and Bournemouth. Do not sell the farm to get him, as he likely won’t replicate those numbers. I still love this player going forward, though, and you want pieces of this offense.
Tomas Soucek
Position: Midfield
Team: West Ham
Ownership: 43%
Points Average Since the Restart: 11.8
Remaining Fixtures: @nor, WAT, @mu, AVL
What’s Changed?: At this very moment, 57% of you can go to your waiver wire and pick up (for free!) a player who has averaged 18 points per match in his last 3 matches. This is also a player who has shown that this West Ham team is completely lost and rudderless without him. He’s not getting rotated any time soon. Do I think Soucek will continue to score 18 PPG? No. But, I do think that West Ham has a great fixture list and that he can act as a very serviceable MID 2 to 3 for your fantasy team. And in those leagues where he’s owned, absolutely, I would trade for Soucek. Try to package some lesser players to land him.

Fantasy EPL Defenders
- Trent Alexander-Arnold (100%, Liverpool) – Obviously.
- Lucas Digne (100%, Everton) – An absolute fantasy monster.
- Matt Doherty (99%, Wolves) – Amazingly dependable defensive fantasy asset.
- Willy Boly (94%, Wolves) – A ghost point monster. Even when they concede, he scores well.
- Michael Keane (74%, Everton) – Solid and consistent. It’s rare
- Kieran Tierney (47%, Arsenal) – I’m hesitant to recommend any Arsenal defender, but he’s in form.
- Kurt Zouma (46%, Chelsea) – 8.5 points despite conceding two goals. He scored well in fantasy.
- Tariq Lamptey (14%, Brighton) – An absolute streak of lightning. Getting ghost points galore.
- Javier Manquillo (4%, Newcastle) – Has been scoring well despite conceding goals.
*Also, note that Sheffield United have Jack O’Connell back from injury and the rest of their defensive cadre looks to be completely fit as well. They’ve scored well all season when those pieces are in place, and I think they’ll get back to their old ways. Check your waiver wire, because many SHU defenders have been dropped.
Fantasy EPL Midfielders
- Kevin De Bruyne (100%, Manchester City) – He’s a ginger. Oh, and a world-class baller.
- James Ward-Prowse (99%, Southampton) – Amazingly consistent player.
- Bruno Fernandes (89%, Manchester United) – WHY IS HE NOT 100% OWNED?!
- Michail Antonio (89%, West Ham) – Amazing schedule upcoming and he’s nailed on.
- Miguel Almiron (83%, Newcastle) – Attacking returns, finally! And that smile!
- Leandro Trossard (55%, Brighton) – Sort of looks like a movie villain. But you should start him when he starts.
- Naby Keita (55%, Liverpool) – He’s getting more minutes and scoring well for fantasy owners.
- Stuart Armstrong (45%, Southampton) – I know, a chap named “Stuart” shouldn’t be good at football, but he is.
- Tomas Soucek (43%, West Ham) – See above.
- Yves Bissouma (14%, Brighton) – A steady MID 3-4. Grab him in case one of your midfielders are rotated.
Fantasy EPL Forwards
- Mohamed Salah (100%, Liverpool) – Don’t expect him to miss starts while he’s still chasing the golden boot.
- Jamie Vardy (100%, Leicester) – He read my criticisms of him last week. He looks to be back… and hungry.
- Willian (99%, Chelsea) – Continuing the legacy of one-named greatness started by the likes of Pele, Prince, and Madonna.
- Mason Greenwood (78%, Manchester United) – See above.
- Jarrod Bowen (62%, West Ham) – I’ve been screaming his name from the rooftops. Haven’t you heard me?
- Bukayo Saka (51%, Arsenal) – An incredibly versatile youngster. He can play almost anywhere on the pitch.
- Christian Benteke (34%, Crystal Palace) – If your league awards aerial duels won, he’s huge.
- Jay Rodriguez (26%, Burnley) – If you need a FWD fill-in, you could do worse than J-Rod.
❄️❄️ Gameweek 35 Player Rankings: Cold List ❄️❄️
These are Fantasy EPL players who have fallen in our rankings. This may be due to poor form, they may have been dropped from the best 11, they may have suffered an injury, or received a suspension. It’s time to consider dropping these players from your squads!
Roberto Firmino
Position: Forward
Team: Liverpool
Ownership: 100%
Points Average Since the Restart: 4.2
Remaining Fixtures: BUR, @ars, CHE, @new
What’s Changed?: This one pains me to write, as a fervent Liverpool supporter with shameless adoration for Bobby. But, folks, he hasn’t scored more than 6 points in a match since February 1st. He does so much for this team on the pitch, but it doesn’t often translate to fantasy points. Not only that, but he’s often one of the first names subbed off since the restart. It’s time to admit that he’s not really a fantasy stud in Klopp’s heavy metal offense. That’s not his role.
Recommendation: There’s still ample name value in Firmino. Call up the Liverpool junkie in your league and offer him Bobby for, say, Bowen or Antonio. Or try a 2 for 1 and get some squad depth in exchange for a player (in Firmino) who you can hardly count on for consistent scores from week to week.
Tammy Abraham
Position: Forward
Team: Chelsea
Ownership: 96%
Points Average Since the Restart: 5.1
Remaining Fixtures: @shu, NOR, @liv, WOL
What’s Changed?: When Chelsea signed Timo Werner, I tweeted that Abraham must be livid. Many commented that they were positive that the two could play together in this offense. I hope that’s all cleared up now. Chelsea (and Lampard) have made it abundantly clear just how little they rate Tammy. And, to be fair, he’s probably not the caliber of player who should start in a title-contending Chelsea side next season. Anyway, for the time being it’s clear that Giroud has usurped Abraham as the lone striker. Even with the odd goal as a sub, I’m not comfortable starting Tammy unless he starts a match.
Recommendation: If you can get any value for him, trade him. Otherwise, you need to ask yourself if you’re comfortable starting him as a sub. I’m not. And if you share that view, it may be time to move on from the poor lad. The only exception might be in a case where your forward depth is substantial, meaning that you have starting forwards all locked and loaded and you can hold Tammy for the one to two games he may actually start.
Gylfi Sigurdsson
Position: Midfield
Team: Everton
Ownership: 95%
Points Average Since the Restart: 3.5
Remaining Fixtures: @wol, AVL, @shu, BOU
What’s Changed?: Gylfi has 17.5 points since the restart. He scored 13 points in the one game in which he successfully netted a penalty kick. So, take 13 away from 17.5, and that will tell you exactly how he’s done in the other four games combined. He’s all but lost his starting spot, and his days seem numbered at Everton, as they should be on your fantasy team.
Recommendation: To be completely honest with you, I would drop Sigurdsson. It’s going to feel weird. But I bet it will also feel good… like that moment you finally delete your ex’s number from your phone after a messy break-up. There, now you’re free to sow your wild oats. Go snag someone like Soucek, Armstrong, Keita, Ceballos, or even Hourihane for an immediate upgrade.
Gameweek 35 Player Rankings: More Cold Players!
Fantasy EPL Defenders
- Ben Chilwell (100%, Leicester) – The injury could plague the rest of his season. It’s a real bummer.
- Joe Gomez (91%, Liverpool) – Pool has been conceding goals. As, as such, Gomez’s value is naught.
- Aymeric Laporte (85%, Manchester City) – Unless City keeps a clean sheet, he does precious little.
- Ben Mee (84%, Burnley) – He’s out for the rest of the season. Drop him.
- Toby Alderweireld (64%, Tottenham) – Better this week, but need to prove it’s not a fluke.
- Matt Targett (64%, West Ham) – Looks set to miss 2 to 3 weeks.
- Reece James (63%, Chelsea) – Always a gamble… and that’s IF he starts.
- Ricardo Pereira (56%, Leicester) – Umm… out for the season. Why is he 56% owned?
- Antonio Rudiger (51%, Chelsea) – You can find a better option on the waiver wire.
- Victor Lindelof (48%, Manchester United) – Needs a clean sheet to score well.
- David Luiz (48%, Arsenal) – Still yuck.
Fantasy EPL Midfielders
- Dele Alli (99%, Tottenham) – Now appears to be injured. What an abysmal restart it’s been.
- João Moutinho (99%, Wolves) – Still struggling.
- Diogo Jota (96%, Wolves) – Usually the first man subbed off. And sometimes doesn’t start at all.
- Lucas Moura (95%, Tottenham) – Drop him. This team looks lost.
- Gylfi Sigurdsson (95%, Everton) – See above.
- Abdoulaye Doucoure (89%, Watford) – The Doucoure-as-a-#10 experiment is over. Drop.
- Harvey Barnes (85%, Leicester City) – Looks relegated to the role of sub.
- John McGinn (84%, Aston Villa) – Quite the disappointment. You have to wonder how healthy he truly is.
- Luka Milivolevic (82%, Crystal Palace) – Has had a miserable season.
- Mesut Ozil (80%, Arsenal) – It’s hard to express what a bust he’s been since the restart.
- Todd Cantwell (77%, Norwich) – Having trouble affecting matches at all.
- Daniel James (84%, Manchester United) – Might have permanently lost his spot to Greenwood.
Fantasy EPL Forwards
- Roberto Firmino (100%, Liverpool) – See above.
- Gabriel Jesus (99%, Manchester City) – This was one great game. We’re monitoring him.
- Harry Kane (99%, Tottenham) – Getting no service and looks slightly disinterested to boot.
- Tammy Abraham (97%, Chelsea) – See above.
- Nicholas Pepe (94%, Arsenal) – Can it be that he’s actually lost his spot to the 18-year-old, Saka?
- Ayoze Perez (89%, Leicester) – He’s been starting! We’re monitoring him.
- Teemu Pukki (87%, Norwich) – His struggles continue, as do Norwich’s.
- Sergio Aguero (79%, Manchester City) – Don’t hold him. He’s most likely done for the season.
