Welcome back to another week of RB rankings. For my Week 4 RB rankings list, the main difference in this list is Christian McCaffrey and Dalvin Cook are not at the top of the list due to injuries. Cook has a chance to play this week but is questionable.
Week 3 was also a breath of fresh air for fantasy owners. Saquon Barkley had a great game and looks to be healthy, Ezekiel Elliott is showing that Week 1 was a fluke and Najee Harris finally broke out for fantasy owners. A lot of things to be excited about going into Week 4, and this list will be your cheat sheet to another victory.
Just as a reminder these RB rankings are based on half PPR scoring. Below I have my top-50 RB rankings for Week 4.

Week 4 Notes
Austin Ekeler moved into the top three this week as the Chargers play the Raiders. Week by week Ekeler has been trending up in fantasy points and this is the week he breaks for 25 plus fantasy points. Jonathan Taylor at six may look surprising, but Taylor has had some tough matchups in his first three weeks. But, for Week 4, Taylor will go against the Dolphins who gave up 111 yards to Peyton Barber. Make sure you start Taylor this week as he will be a top-scoring back for Week 4.
The next surprise is James Robinson. Robinson finally broke out last week putting up 88 rushing yards and a touchdown along with six receptions for 46 yards. It looks as if Urban Meyer finally learned how to use Robinson in his offense. Robinson would have broken the top 10 for me this week, but the Jaguars are playing the Bengals who have been solid against the run this year. That’s why I have Robinson at 13 for my Week 4 RB rankings.
Three other surprising names that have moved up in my Week 4 RB rankings are Chuba Hubbard at 19, Alexander Mattison at 23, and Zack Moss at 24. Hubbard does have a tough matchup against the Cowboys this week. But with McCaffrey out, he is going to get a lot of volume. Just look at what Mike Davis did last season when McCaffrey went down.
As for Mattison, he jumps up to 23 this week because it doesn’t look like Cook will be back. He should get a lot of red zone opportunities this week against the Browns. Lastly, Moss has a great matchup against the Texans. They have given up 21 fantasy points a game to running backs. Moss didn’t start last week and still outscored Devin Singletary 16.6 to 3.1. Moss will be the starter in the next coming weeks and will get more touches this week.
