We are going to keep up with this article weekly for the rest of the season, giving you an analysis on the players that are growing in value, and those that are plummeting in my rankings. Here are my Stock Up/Stock Down picks of the week.

Week 5 Fantasy Football Stock Watch
Stock Up
DJ Moore, WR, Carolina Panthers
DJ Moore has seen an increase in targets each week thus far. He is averaging 10.75 targets per game, has three total touchdowns, and he has gone over 75 yards in all four games this season. He is the clear cut WR1 in this new Sam Darnold run offense, and there seems to be a safe floor as well. While we all knew that Moore had the talent to be a WR1, there was a little bit of an issue with consistency. This season he has shown that consistency that takes him from a WR2 to a legitimate WR1. He has been sliding up my rankings each week.
Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Football Team
Terry McLaurin is the alpha in Washington this season. He is averaging 9.5 targets per game which ranks 13th in all of football. Not to mention, he only had four targets in Week 1, so his average number of targets could be even higher. Taylor Heinicke is better than people may think, for some reason he reminds me of a young Kirk Cousins simply based on the energy and tenacity that he brings to the table. I think McLaurin can have a ton of success with Heinicke this season, and if there is anything that indicates big production, it is targets. McLaurin is someone to target via trade if possible as I expect him to keep up the pace.
Chase Edmonds, RB, Arizona Cardinals
Buy Chase Edmonds guys. He has four or more receptions in all four games this season, he is averaging only 10.75 carries per game, but here is the thing… He is averaging 5.9 yards per carry, and 7.0 yards per reception. Both of these are great figures in terms of efficiency. But the biggest thing, is that Chase Edmonds has zero touchdowns this season. Although James Conner is stealing goal line work, there is almost a guarantee that Edmonds will see an uptick in TDs, and for this reason in an explosive offense, he is a buy!

Stock Down
Julio Jones, WR, Tennessee Titans
Is it time to completely abort ship with Julio Jones? Probably not. But I am worried. This offense has not been able to support a solid air attack yet. Both A.J. Brown and Julio Jones are busts at their ADP at this point. He has been out for two weeks with an injury, and even before the injury he has only had one week with more than three receptions. The biggest thing is that it is hard to tell whether Julio has lost a step, or this offense simply isn’t giving him the volume he needs to succeed. Only time will tell, but tread carefully with him going forward.
Rondale Moore, WR, Arizona Cardinals
Rondale Moore is much better viewed as a dynasty asset, than a redraft asset. There is a nice ceiling here, but as a rookie, a boom or bust WR is very hard to plug into your lineup on a weekly basis. After a great Week 2, he has put up two dud weeks in a row. In fact, it can be very frustrating when you play him on a bad game, and then sit him when he has a massive game. This holds true for all boom or bust WRs. This is why in redraft leagues, if I can trade Moore for someone with a safer floor I would do it in a heartbeat.
Ty’Son Williams, RB, Baltimore Ravens
Ty’Son Williams was never going to get bell-cow work in this offense like many believed. I simply do not think that is how the Ravens operate. I think even if J.K. Dobbins or Gus Edwards was the top guy, they still would utilize a multi running back system. On top of that Lamar Jackson is a massive factor in the running game, so I have to ask, what is the ceiling for any Ravens RB? To me, they are all touchdown dependent with a slight chance to break 15 carries in a game. These hot hand situations that change on a weekly basis are situations you should try to avoid. This whole Ravens backfield is a sell in my eyes.
