Gameweek 3 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 3 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.
Jarrad Branthwaite
Position: Defender
Team: Everton
Next Fixture: Wolves (Home)
Prospects: Everton has looked bad. What is somewhat surprising, is that it isn’t just on offense, it is the defense too. We felt that Branthwaite would eventually win the CB spot next to Tarkowski eventually, but his chance may come earlier than anticipated. The young CB should hold his own against Wolves, but has enough to do to provide a decent points floor.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-2 FAB.
Gio Lo Celso
Position: Midfielder
Team: Tottenham
Next Fixture: Bournemouth (Away)
Prospects: Maddison was seen on crutches, in a protective boot after last weekend’s game and even iff the injury is minor, the Argentinian playmaker could still feature against Bournemouth. In previous outings, under a host of different managers, he has never been a constant enough scorer, but taking over Maddison’s role in Ange’s All-out Attack should bode well for his chances of a monster score. On the off chance that Maddison is seriously injured, you might be lucky enough to pick up a player with MID1 potential.
Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.
Lewis Dobbin
Position: Forward
Team: Everton
Next Fixture: Wolves (Home)
Prospects: With DCL out again and Danjuma still not match fit, Dobbin might get a rare start against fellow strugglers, Wolves. As usual, the sub40% rostered FWDs market is so thin, that you are unlikely to find an amazing scorer here and our recommendations are mostly punts. But hey, at your FWD3 position, in a bind, it could be the magic touch your team needs.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0 FAB to get him.
