Gameweek 14 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 14 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.
Davinson Sanchez
Position: Defender
Team: Tottenham
Rostered: 21%
Next Fixture: Bournemouth (Away)
Prospects: Once again, the linchpin in the Spurs defence, Cristian Romero is out and it gives Sanchez an opportunity to shine in the upcoming fixtures. First of which is a tasty one against Solanke-less Bournemouth. Now that the new manager vibes have worn off, the Cherries have begun reverting to their expected production and losing their focal point in attack will hardly help them score more. Spurs are I a funk too, but, not so much as to not be able to come away from Bournemouth with a clean sheet.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
Douglas Luiz
Position: Midfielder
Team: Aston Villa
Rostered: 20%
Next Fixture: Newcastle (Away)
Prospects: The Brazilian celebrated his red card being rescinded by assisting over the weekend in a statement win to mark the sacking of Stevie G. Now that the new manager is announced, Emery will be in the stands with watchful eyes in Newcastle as he assess his squad. Luiz has a chance to nail down a spot and more importantly to challenge for set piece monopoly in a team that seems to have amassed the most set piece takers the world d has ever seen. Luiz is a good ghosat point getter and pops up with the occasional attacking return so will give any fantasy team a solid anchor in midfield.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
Willian
Position: Forward
Team: Fulham
Ownership: 37%
Next Fixture: Everton (Home)
Prospects: In an unprecedented move, I am re-recommending Willian this week riding high on last weeks punt netting those who believed in him 19 points. That performance marked his third start for Fulham this season and his third double digit score as well. Willian is a man reborn and Fulham look like the real deal to avoid being dragged down into a relegatin scrap this season. As Willian is still under the 40% threshold we will continue to recommend him.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 5-8 FAB to get him.
