Romain Perraud
Position: Defender
Team: Southampton
Rostered: 21%
Next Fixture: Nottnigham Forest (Home)
Prospects: The Southampton wingback set out the game against Fulham after suffering the embarrasment of getting an own goal on Boxing Day. Southampton look like a true relegation candidate, but Lavia potentially being back to anchor the midfield and them facing fellow strugglers Forest does give one hope that the defence might get something here. Perraud has been good for attacking points as well as defnesive ones this season, so out of the defenders, he would be out pick.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
Naby Keita
Position: Midfielder
Team: Liverpool
Rostered: 6%
Next Fixture: Brentford (Away)
Prospects: Keita is finally back and he looked good in the Festive period coming in from the bench. With fixtures piling up, he could represent a cheap way to buy into the Liverpool attack. Oxlade-Chamberlain is highly unlikely to start 3 in a week and while seeing KEita at LW is an outside option, even if he does start in the midfield 3, he will be tasked with a more attacking role.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
Yoane Wissa
Position: Forward
Team: Brentford
Ownership: 14%
Next Fixture: Liverpool (Home)
Prospects: Toney’s injury looks less serious than first feared, but hw will surely not be risked with such a short turnaround, so it is likely that Wissa comes in. Liverpool’s defence looks shaky to say the least, so Wissa could grab a return.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
