Gameweek 27 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 27 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.
Harry Souttar
Position: Defender
Team: Leicester
Rostered: 7%
Next Fixture: Brentford (Away)
Prospects: Out of all the low-rostered defenders for the blank GW Souttar looks to be in the select few, who are able to ghost well even though Leicester concede like it is compulsory. When considering blank gameweeks, even a quasi-guaranteed 4-6 points might get you a win vs depleted squads, so tamper expectations. The fact that Leicester double after the International Break adds an extra incentive to go for the big man from down under.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
Kevin Schade
Position: Midfielder
Team: Brentford
Rostered: 1%
Next Fixture: Leicester (Home)
Prospects: The young german wunderkind came in in January but hasn’t had many chances to impress in the first team. That is until the second game of this DGW27 where he started and looked very sharp, plus he got a bunch of Fantasy points (the one we really care about). His path to minutes might open up if Toney gets his 10th yellow in Gw28, which would mean the striker is suspended for 2 games, essentially handing a starting spot in the double gameweek in 29 to the young German.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
Dango Ouattara
Position: Forward
Team: Bournemouth
Ownership: 34%
Next Fixture: Aston Villa (Away)
Prospects: We have long been great admirers of Dango and he has not disappointed. After a rocky spell in the last couple of weeks, he came up in a big way against struggling Liverpool. It seems all the attacks are currently flowing through him and his explosive pace and strength are handing him great opportunities in front of the opponent’s goal. other than Spurs away and maybe Brighton, he has a remaining schedule that essentially has him locked into your starting lineup until the end of the season. This is a short and long-term play all in one.
Verdict: I would use a high-end waiver claim or 10-15 FAB to get him.
