Gameweek 29 Waiver Wire Targets

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 297 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.

Kurt Zouma

Position: Defender

Team: West Ham

Rostered: 17%

Next Fixture: Southampton (Home), Newcastle (Home)

Prospects: Zouma was back in the starting XI last gameweek for just the second time since the World Cup break but failed the set the world alight with a 5.25 against Villa conceding one. Now that he is healthy, he should stay in the XI. Zouma’s biggest threat is his aerial ability, 2.36 aerials won per 90 starts him off to a decent ghost floor, and more often than not he can pop up with a dangerous header in the opposition box too. Southampton, after a brief decent spell, looks to be odds on to get relegated and West Ham needs to make the most of the 6-pointer, while Newcastle coming back down to Earth after their early season form gives managers hope for Zouma points in both games of the double.

Verdict: I would use any waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.

Marcel Sabitzer

Position: Midfielder

Team: Man U

Rostered: 25%

Next Fixture: Newcastle (Away), Brentford(Home)

Prospects: Sabitzer celebrated his return from injury with a very well-taken goal in the Cup before the international break and will be hoping to get his starting job back permanently when play resumes. His ability to find himself in great positions around the edge of the box and the mean shot he has on him make him the United mid with the highest upside and possibility of getting an attacking return.

Verdict: I would use any waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.

Teté

Position: Forward

Team: Leicester

Ownership: 29%

Next Fixture: Crystal Palace (Away), Aston Villa (Home)

Prospects: Safe to say Leicester has not managed to put together a great season and after some hope and excitement for the Brazilian winger who was signed from Lyon, it quickly became apparent that he cannot overcome the struggles his team is facing. After a hot start, his points became so underwhelming, that he was dropped in most 12-team leagues, let alone smaller ones. Well, it might e time to pick him back up. Whether any talks about it or not, Leicester are in a relegation dogfight, they need to get at least 4 points in this double to start escaping. The fact that Barnes is back healthy and that they need to push for a goal bodes well for Teté. Hopefully, he can kick on from now.

Verdict: I would use any waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.
