Gameweek 30 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 30 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players will also have a favorable run of fixtures upcoming, so they could perform very well over the upcoming period!
The following teams have fixtures in GW30:
- Arsenal
- Aston Villa
- Brentford
- Leeds
- Leicester
- Tottenham
- West Ham
- Wolves
Wesley Fofana
Position: Defender
Team: Leicester
Rostered: 21%
Next Fixture: Brentford (Home)
Prospects: Fofana had an amazing debut season at Leicester last season, single-handedly solidifying a defense that in his absence had been the 7th worst in the EPL. He has officially recovered from a broken leg and will feature against Rennes in Europe during the midweek. Once fully reinstated, he will become a season-long hold, and now is the time to swoop. Even if he doesn’t start in the upcoming blank, he is still worth holding on to.
Verdict: I would use any waiver claim or about 0-5% of my remaining FAB on Fofana.
Rodrigo Bentancur
Position: Midfielder
Team: Spurs
Rostered: 22%
Next Fixture: West Ham (Home)
Prospects: Back from injury and back in the ghosts. Spurs’ January signing has been a revelation since arriving from Juventus and will continue to start unchallenged as long as Skipp is out. Do not expect fireworks, but this is a week, where, you might be able to win your matchup with a sub-50 score and a win is a win, so the 4-8 points from Bentancur might be what gets you across the line.
Verdict: Bentancur should cost you 5-8% of your FAB.
Sergi Canos
Position: Forward
Team: Brentford
Ownership: 31%
Next Fixture: Leicester (Away)
Prospects: Another less than exciting recommendation. One I would not touch in any other gameweek, but such is the lack of available options, that Canos enters the frame. Eriksen has been monopolizing set pieces since his introduction, so Canos’s set-piece-related floor has all but disappeared, that said, he put a shift in, in the last two games, so that may be something to get excited about. Not too much though. The teams with Kane, Son, Maddison, Raphinha, Odegaard, and the Arsenal boys will most likely take easy wins this week.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 0-3% of my remaining FAB on Canos.
