Gameweek 30 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 30 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.
Wout Faes
Position: Defender
Team: Leicester
Rostered: 17%
Next Fixture: Bournemouth (Home)
Prospects: The fuzzy-haired Belgian has been capable of big scores and calamities alike since his arrival to the EPL. With an expected new manager bounce and relegation truly looming, Leicester will need to give these last matches everything they got. Their remaining schedule looks decent, so if they can somehow stop conceding, their defensive assets will become viable streamers ROS. Gamble on Faes to split aerial dominance with Souttar to have enough of a floor to score above 6-7 even if they concede.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-1 FAB to get him.
N’golo Kanté
Position: Midfielder
Team: Chelsea
Rostered: 39%
Next Fixture: Wolves (Away)
Prospects: The nicest man in world football is finally back from injury and he is likely going to start his third game this season under the third different manager. If you have watched the game against Villa or Liverpool, you could see that he occupied a role more resembling his role under Tuchel as he frequently pushed up in attack as far as the edge of the opponent’s box to have a few wayward shots and some nice through balls in the dying minutes of the loss against Villa and he had an assist on one of the disallowed goals against Liverpool. He will be needed to steady the ship as soon as possible, so a weekend start is possible.
Verdict: I would use any waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.
Carlos Vinicius
Position: Forward
Team: Fulham
Ownership: 4%
Next Fixture: West Ham (Home)
Prospects: According to our Fixture difficulty tracker, Forwards facing West Ham average a whopping 10.6 points. That is one of the main reasons our projections have the Brazilian striker scoring around 9.1 next weekend. With Mitro out for another 7 games, it looks like Vinicius leading the line and trying to arrest Fulham’s decline is here to stay. With sub 40% rostered forwards looking like the usual wasteland, I would punt on Vinicius for the home game against struggling West Ham.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-1 FAB to get him.
