Gameweek 31 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 31 Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax.
Clement Lenglet
Position: Defender
Team: Tottenham
Rostered: 18%
Next Fixture: Bournemouth (Home)
Prospects: Spurs have gotten away with one against Brighton last weekend, but they are facing a much less scary opponent this time around. Bournemouth got a vital victory against fellow strugglers, Leicester, so have some breathing room in the relegation fight as they are going into a game they are not expected to win. Midfield dynamos Hamed Traore and Tavernier are nursing/ coming back from injuries, while Ouattara was struggling against Leicester as it seems, while they have the numbers, they might not have the quality to penetrate the Spurs defence, desperate to string a few good results together.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-1 FAB to get him.
Kevin Schade
Position: Midfielder
Team: Brentford
Rostered: 6%
Next Fixture: Wolves (Away)
Prospects: The young German is finally starting to show why Brentford got him in January. Although his starts have been scarce when given a chance, he has shown to be able to collect a lot of ghost points. He went for 8.5 at the weekend and Wolves should prove to be a much easier opponent, than high-flying Newcastle. If starting, he is definitely worth a punt.
Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.
Jordan Ayew
Position: Forward
Team: Crystal Palace
Ownership: 31%
Next Fixture: Southampton (Away)
Prospects: The two teams in this upcoming fixture were at opposite ends of a mauling and we like what we saw from Palace against Leeds. I have t admit, I was not expecting Hodgson to come in and change things so quickly, but it looks like the Eagles are flying high. Ayew has been a permanent member of the starting XI this season and should continue to provide great value during what is arguably the easiest schedule ever for Palace ROS.
Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.
