Most Favorable Schedules

Portland Trail Blazers – @ATL @TOR @CHI SAS

The Blazers top the ranks of having the best opponents for fantasy stat production this week. As far as players who are now worthy of being rostered in fantasy leagues, Toumani Camara is still available in 24% of Fantrax fantasy basketball leagues. Camara averages 2.8 threes and 2 steals per game over his last nine games.

Charlotte Hornets – UTA @IND SAC CHI

With LaMelo Ball out for the rest of the season, we have a new challenger at PG – rookie Kenneth “KJ” Simpson. The numbers sans LaMelo haven’t been great thus far (11.5 points, 2 threes, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals in the last two games), but the minutes should be high for the rest of the season. Similarly, DaQuan Jeffries is getting 30ish minutes per game and should be penciled in for points in the mid-teens with a couple of threes.

Indiana Pacers – SAC CHA UTA @DEN

Obi Toppin, Andrew Nembhard, and Aaron Nesmith are the three players that stand out as must-rosters for the week for the runnin’ and gunnin’ Pacers. Nembhard is the choice for assists, while the other two provide a more balanced stat line.

Milwaukee Bucks – PHX @PHI @MIA @NOP

Ryan Rollins starts at point guard for the Bucks with Damian Lillard out for the season. He’s averaging 15.7 points, 4 assists, and 2.3 threes in the last three games. Not quite a replacement for Lillard, but probably good enough for the end of a fantasy roster in most leagues. Kevin Porter Jr. keeps showing his high pedigree, having scored 28 points against Atlanta last night.

Usage Watch

Jose Alvarado has the highest increase in usage over the past week. Let’s ignore the 27% shooting from the field for the moment. Collin Sexton, OG Anunoby, Malik Monk, and Alex Sarr complete the top 5.

That concludes this week’s Usage Watch.
