😇😇😇 Gameweek 20 Player Rankings: Nice List 😇😇😇
These are Fantasy EPL Draft players that have risen in our rankings! These are potential free agents on good form or established players that you should be looking to trade-in. Keep an eye on these players, and bring them into your Fantrax squad if you can!
Djibril Sidibe
Position: Defender
Team: Everton
Ownership: 61%
Average Score Last 5 Games: 17.35 PPG
Next 5 Fixtures: new (A), mci (A), BHA (H), whu (A), NEW (H)
What’s Changed?: We’ve been talking about Sidibe quite a lot this season, and Chap 1 picked out Sidibe in the GW19 Sleepers XI article; hopefully, you were all paying close attention! The 31.5 points Sidibe picked up was thanks largely down to the assist for Calvert-Lewin’s winner and chaps, we are expecting this to be a more frequent feature of Sidibe’s play; with Ancelotti playing Sidibe in the more advanced right-wing role. Seeing a defender play in a more advanced role, particularly an attacking wing-back, is the ultimate sight for any Draft EPL manager; we implore you to go and pick up Sidibe now and reap the benefits of his more advanced role.
Whilst we are waxing lyrical about Sidibe’s attacking capabilities, let’s not forget Ancelotti is renowned for strong defensive sides; so two cleanies on the bounce is something that cannot be ignored either!
Manuel Lanzini
Position: Midfielder
Team: West Ham
Ownership: 66%
Average Score Last 5 Games: 1.6 PPG
Next 5 Fixtures: LEI (H), BOU (H), shu (A), EVE (H), lei (A)
What’s Changed?: Returning on Boxing Day Lanzini made a cameo appearance from the bench, and what we saw of Lanzini has really stirred the relatively subdued post-Christmas appetite. In only 30 minutes, Lanzini picked up an impressive eight points without any attacking returns. This in itself is impressive, but when looking back at Lanzini’s returns before his five-week injury lay off, he averaged 17 points per game, the solution is an obvious one! At only 66% ownership, which will undoubtedly rise, if he is available in your league; he is a must pick up.
Mason Greenwood
Position: Forward
Team: Manchester United
Ownership: 34%
Average Score Last 5 Games: 7.7 PPG
Next 5 Fixtures: bur (A), ars (A), NOR (H), liv (A), BUR (H)
What’s Changed?: You might recall a couple of Gameweeks ago, I was talking about picking up Greenwood on the @FPLkickaround podcast. I am sat here loving the pick-up and feeling great about life. I have passed up plenty of players in the past and then watched a rival manager enjoy the form of said player with great envy; so I congratulate any of you, who like me, gambled on Greenwood and started him in Gameweek 19. Its clear and obvious that Greenwood has a natural ability to score goals, but what Greenwood owners need to be mindful of is the probable rotation in United will not want to overcook the youngster. If you can afford to be selective in your selection, then Greenwood is a very good Forward 3 for the remainder of this season.
Gameweek 20 Player Rankings: More Nice Players!
Fantasy EPL Defenders
- Virgil Van-Dijk (100%, Liverpool) – The Dutchman has upped his game in recent weeks, and is now scoring as we expected before the season started
- James Tarkowski (97%, Burnley) – Continues to score very well!
- Serge Aurier (91%, Spurs) – Jose seems to really like Aurier and has voiced his desire for Aurier to attack; which will be music to Fantrax owners ears as Spurs aren’t keeping cleanies
- George Baldock (77%, Sheffield United) – The right wing-back is either keeping clean sheets or gaining attacking returns!
- Diego Rico (76%, Bournemouth) – Scoring well, and should keep his slot now that fellow left-back Kelly has suffered an injury setback
- Yerry Mina (53%, Everton) – Sign him if he’s a free agent! And Holgate too!
- Christian Kabasele (21%, Watford) – Scoring incredibly well for a defender in a poor side
Fantasy EPL Midfielders
- Kevin De Bruyne (100%, Manchester City) – Continues to perform at the highest of levels!
- James Maddison (100%, Leicester) – Making this very good Leicester side tick
- Jack Grealish (99%, Aston Villa) – Continues to perform
- Dele Alli (99%, Tottenham) – Been on fire since Mourinho took over!!
- Emi Buendia (93%, Norwich) – On amazing form after being dropped a few weeks back!
- James Ward-Prowse (98%, Southampton) – Putting together some good performances recently
- Michail Antonio (82%, West Ham) – Returned to the side to great effect, but Pellegrini is going to manage his minutes
- Jonjo Shelvey (69%, Newcastle) – On amazing form recently, hopefully, he’ll be back to full fitness soon!
- Declan Rice (47%, West Ham) – Scoring surprisingly consistently in recent week
- Fred (46%, Manchester United) – Really consistent at the moment and making lots of key passes
Fantasy EPL Forwards
- Jamie Vardy (100%, Leicester) – Doesn’t matter that he’s goal dependent. Complete legend this season!
- Anthony Martial (100%, Manchester United) – Back from injury and scoring well!
- Sadio Mane (100%, Liverpool) – Outshining the more sought after Salah at the moment, he’s the Liverpool player to own
- Raul Jimenez (100%, Wolves) – The Mexican continues to perform very well

- Dominic Calvert-Lewin (49%, Everton) – Looks nailed as the central striker in a rejuvenated Everton side

- Mason Greenwood (34%, Manchester United) – Started and scored in GW19

💀💀💀 Gameweek 20 Player Rankings: Naughty List 💀💀💀
These are Fantasy EPL players that have fallen in our rankings. This may be due to poor form, they have been dropped from the best 11, they have suffered an injury, or received a suspension. It’s time to consider dropping these players from your squads!
Michael Keane
Position: Defender
Team: Everton
Ownership: 63%
Average Score Last 5 Games: 4.10 PPG
Next 5 Fixtures: new (A), mci (A), BHA (H), whu (A), NEW (H)
What’s Changed?: We’re all pretty keen on the Everton defense at the moment, but an improvement in Everton’s defensive returns has coincided with the dropping of Keane. With the rise of Holgate and the fact Everton has kept two cleanies on the bounce, we do not expect Keane to be back into the side for Gameweek 20.
Recommendation: If you have the space we’d recommend holding Keane for the time being. With a busy schedule, he might return for Gameweek 21 if he doesn’t then swapping him out for Holgate would be a wise move.
Scott McTominay
Position: Midfielder
Team: Manchester United
Ownership: 84%
Average Score Last 5 Games: 8.1 PPG
Next 5 Fixtures: bur (A), ars (A), NOR (H), liv (A), BUR (H)
What’s Changed?: McTominay picked up a medial knee ligament injury in Gameweek 19 and all McTominay owners will be keeping their eyes firmly fixed on injury guru @bendinnery for updates on a likely return; what we can be assured of is that McTominay is unlikely to feature until January. The injury is a big blow to McTominay owners as the midfielder has provided Fantrax managers with regular points, the type of points that win you leagues!
Recommendation: We’d advise holding onto McTominay until the full extent of his knee injury is known.
Wesley
Position: Forward
Team: Aston Villa
Ownership: 45%
Average Score Last 5 Games: 4.2 PPG
Next 5 Fixtures: wat (A), bur (A), MCI (H), bha (A), WAT (H)
What’s Changed?: Its been 11 Gameweek’s since Wesley, the big-money summer signing, last scored a goal or picked up an assist. It would be OK if Wesley was picking up points for his Fantrax managers in the mold of Benteke, but he isn’t. Not good.
Recommendation: We highly recommend dropping Wesley. We’d advise looking to someone like Greenwood, as he is likely to be available and could see increased game time.
Gameweek 20 Player Rankings: More Naughty Players!
Fantasy EPL Defenders
- Kyle Walker (90%, Manchester City) – How is Walker 90% owned?! Awful
- Benjamin Mendy (79%, Manchester City) – Usually scores well when he plays, like the 22 points in GW18 but he can’t be relied upon to keep his place…
- Emerson (69%, Chelsea) – Struggling for game-time at the moment. Azpi is sometimes being utilized at left-back to accommodate James at right-back
- Joao Cancelo (58%, Manchester City) – Not featured for a while. Drop him

Fantasy EPL Midfielders

- Alex Iwobi (63%, Everton) – Not scoring well, although he’s worth keeping until Everton bring in a new manager. Picked up a hamstring injury at the weekend

Fantasy EPL Forwards
- Nicolas Pepe (97%, Arsenal) – Struggling for game time
- Callum Wilson (91%) – Scoring very poorly, this Chap is frozen solid. Just returned from injury
